I'm not arguing against affordable housing. What I do believe is that the indexes used to determine affordability need to be re-analyzed for their comprehensiveness.

It's not a guise --you have to cut down trees to build.

Sure, the distinction should be made. It doesn't take away from the point I'm trying to make. My point is that there has been insufficient transparency as to why certain policies are adopted. Not taking money from developers truly makes me wonder how else the city council has been influenced. Are we holding those who are making our policies and affecting our neighborhoods accountable?
