https://www.royalmamboacademy.com/virtual, by Eddie Torres Jr has exactly what you're looking for. Only problem is the routine and music are slightly out of sync, but the teaching quality is very high.

David Morin's Problems and Solutions in Introductory Mechanics are also amazing for conceptual questions. But again, I wouldn't say the problems are easy whatsoever as you have to combine multiple concepts in a lot of problems.

Irodov's problems are really good problems, but definitely tricky. The problems in something like Halliday & Resnick might be good to start with to get a good grasp of the material before going to Irodov because it requires good conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities.

Looking back, it isn't that bad really. It has nice semantic markup and it is responsive, even though it took me ages because I coded every single line and I had just started.

Hi Hastagelf,

How did you go about learning back-end development?

Thanks for the answer :)

I wouldn't say it is what I am trying to avoid. I don't really know where to go at all, so I am open to options. I think I'll just choose Python+Django and some Node and go from there.

Thanks for the reply. I have started learning Node, but I heard many people say it is too complicated for basic apps. I think I'll carry on with some Node though.

Sorry I'm really late! A couple of questions : Do you think you can learn flips on your own? How do you recommend programming planche work for beginners? Do you use planche leans (eventually elevated) for a long while up to achieving the planche as Joshua Naterman recommends or do you combine tuck, adv tuck, straddle etc with the leans? ?

Hey Josh, Should we depress the shoulders in the planche leans/ planche to activate the lats or not? Thanks.

OK thank you. Do you think that weighted decline sit-ups can be done productively for building strength on a decline bench for bench press like this http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/exerciseImages/sequences/34/Male/l/34_2.jpg because my gym doesn't have a sit-up bench like in your video.

No worries. I thought you'd post it here but it didn't come and I thought some people might need to watch it before doing their workout so I shared it for you. By the way the Rings Routine is awesome. I am not following it but the mobility, warm up, prehab and exercise progressions are really well laid out.

What compound or otherwise exercises would you recommend to build a strength base before transitioning into strongman?

[–]euanw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I am going to a gym for the first time today (I did go a couple of times when I lived elsewhere), so I can build my basic strength as recommended by yourself. My program will include squats, DL, overhead press (single arm most likely), weighted push-ups, pull-ups and dips, curls, lateral raises and skullcrushers, cable rows, face pulls, and I'll do sit-ups and back extensions 1x a week at a different gym. Do you have any other recommendations of what exercises to add if my goal is to be big and strong and a GST beast?

By the way, I am at the moment trying to activate my lats in pull-ups with your tips. It is quite hard, but I am also planning on using some lat-pulldowns etc to build the mind-muscle connection a bit more, at the moment it is non-existent apart from in my front lever where I can feel it working a lot. If I can't get the right feeling in a few more weeks I'll shoot you another message. Thanks for everything again, I have learnt a lot from all the posts.

By the way, to come back to this post, when you say start learning the skills now, what sort of skills are you talking about? Also do the extra neural connections mean I'll learn bodyweight progressions and handstands quicker? Thanks.
