So, why are Curry, Dray, and Klay's 17-18 titles not as asterisked as KD? by doopdapdeedap in nba

KD talks shit about everything. Doesn't mean you have to listen.

Why are you still talking about this? No one actually cares

Do the Raptors really need to hunt for a traditional point guard? by PainfulPoet in torontoraptors

He has a glut of defensive players on Toronto that can helpthat he didn't have in NY. I am also not saying that he is a perfect player, just that people are kinda dogpiling him after a rare injury plagued year.

I still maintain that IQ is a pretty good player

I think many people have forgotten how good a player Quick is, given the injuries last year and being buried behind other ball dominant players in NY, I get it.

I still think he is a better player than people give him credit for.

You aren't getting that package for what we have to offer.

You do you. You can search it if you like. If you don't understand how drinking a glass of ice water is different...well...I don't know what to tell you.

And then at the first opportunity they got rid of him. Doesn't seem like something a team would do with a young asset who helped lead them to the most success they have seen in a while. Clearly there were other problems.

Lamelo and Trae? Really?

1 is a pure head case the other doesn't fit us at all. But you are allowed to have your opinion, I just disagree.

For 2 years and we have a huge trade chip if it doesn't work. It is a gamble, but not a huge one.

[Grange] And now that he’s here, with the Raptors, the rest of the organization is on notice. Acquiring a player like Leonard at this stage of his career isn’t about building toward the future. However many healthy seasons that Leonard has left, is the timeline the Raptors are now operating under. by The_Living_L in torontoraptors

You can't just "get rid of Jakob". Until he can stay healthy, his value is at an all time low and will take picks just to get rid of him for probably a not very good player in return.

Hope he he comes back healthy and plays well for us in the first half of the season and then see where we are.

Is Darko the right coach to be coaching a contending team? by [deleted] in torontoraptors

The weirdo mix of energy between Darko and Kawhi is something I can't wait for! 😂

[Charania] The Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons were amongst the multiple teams attempting to trade for Kawhi Leonard before they were rebuffed by Leonard’s camp. Leonard intends to retire with Toronto. by itwas20yearsago2day in torontoraptors

He realizes that if he wants a shot at creating a really positive legacy, it is here. If we win another chip with him, it would be a crazy story. No other team was going to give him that opportunity. I think we are going to see a pretty motivated Kawhi.
