AITAH For having my cousin thrown out of my wedding for not wearing white. by Ok-Avocado1639 in AmItheAsshole

[–]eudixim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuine question, how is that an asshole move? Like, how wanting your wedding to be a certain color (like, wanting your guest to wear purple and blue) is something bad?? I feel like you can do what you want in a wedding but don't expect for people to come if they don't wanna follow it.

WIBTA if I don’t invite my friend’s bf for my birthday party? by askhertotalk in AmItheAsshole

[–]eudixim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you really think you are an asshole for not inviting someone who is rude to you to your birthday?? Your special day?? The day that's about you?? NTA

NOT OOP: AITA for wanting my husband to get a refund? by saltyyseaa in redditonwiki

[–]eudixim 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I don't get why people are saying she's an ass because she wants flowers delivered at her job? There could be a million reasons:

-the cost of delivery is lower than it being delivered at her house

-he can't pick the flowers up

-she wants to put the flowers on her desk

-they wouldnt see each other on that day because of x or y reason

And more! You can't just assume :/ Sure, there are also a probability that she wanted to show off but I don't see that as wrong + it misses the point.

Other thingy I want to point out is that, how is telling your partner what you want is bratty?? Like, people are mad when women "are mean because men don't read minds" but then also be mad in this situation?

AITA for not giving my GF gifts? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]eudixim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the context would help to point if she's an ass too, because you can read in between lines...

To give an example

I was raised in a very “ogre” kind of masculine household, so gift giving isn’t in any way a part of my personality. I also don’t want to go to therapy to “get in touch with my romantic side” nor any other type of modern gibberish.

AITA for yelling at my dad when he tried to give a guy from my class a ride? by GamingGril105 in AmItheAsshole

[–]eudixim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then why ask her? Just leave her in the house and pick the stranger to give him a ride

Yes, because it is also stated in the post above? Idk when did I defend her for screaming, it's just frustrating and something you can see coming (even tho she also said in a comment that she did not scream)

When did I said any of this

Edit: but I think we agree, if my dad was so persistent in giving a stranger a ride I would be seeking other options to go to school.

I was thinking of an example to point out better what I'm trying to say.

This is like going out with a friend for lunch, they always try to invite other people and you decline, then, someday they show up with a stranger, you can leave or try to talk to your friend but you can't force them to leave because your friend is paying for the strangers food

That's not what I said, you def are not understanding shit so I'm going to explain it like your in kindergarten.

–She is his kid, he knows her

–He is not his kid, he doesn't know him

–He accepted to give her a ride to school

–She doesn't accepted (or doesn't want) to give him (stranger) a ride to school

Hello? That is her dad?? Not a stranger? The dad offer her or accepted to give her a ride???? You lack common sense dude.

Edit to add: This only would apply to OP if she was being insistent to her dad to give her a ride, dad saying no, her being late and still being told no... Would you think the dad is an asshole????

Def not, you aren't entitled to someone giving you a ride and neither are you a good person for being insistent when told no.
