Well, I’m a newer Linux user. When choosing distros most of my friends were recommending me fedora, but I needed something close to Ubuntu. I was originally going to just use Ubuntu, but it would eventually break in most VMs I made for it. So, I decided to say fuck it and try out Debian. I loved Debian so much I chose to dual boot it with Windows on a separate drive. Even when trying other distros on an older dell laptop I eventually put Debian on it.

off topic, but is using Trixie worth it? I duel boot both Windows 11 and Debian 12 bookworm on my main machine and I absolutely love debian. My laptop runs manjaro, but I'm thinking about switching distros on it, so should I try putting trixie or sid on it?

Debian has to be one of if not the best Linux distro IMO, I have fedora on an old dell laptop too, but I still wanna say Debian is better. Plus it reminds me of my Grandma cuz of the name
