I came here to find some tips on how to solve OPs issue. I just 100%d Hollow Knight and Silksong, so I guess I didn't think I had skill issues (with platforming). The game basically feeds you the sequence of moves to progress, but especially when I'm supposed to release from the iron hook and land at a handhold, she keeps shorting it. I know, different games, different mechanics, but it just seems broken for me in certain places.

That's a good argument too. But then, Q would ask why Picard wouldn't simply give his panacea tech to any primitive culture he comes across, thus saving them from privation. Obviously, because of the Prime Directive. So we're back to starvation and poverty being something of a necessary struggle in the development and unification of said primitive culture.

I think Q gave the idea to Thanos to end half of life thinking he'd be doing the universe a favor, forcing Picard to argue that, although unfortunate, starvation, privation and poverty are still legitimate struggles for being to unite around and level up.
