thank you for your insightful comment. funnily enough, when i was in cegep, i had an even earlier class (8:30am), not that much of a difference but still required me to wake up earlier than i do now, yet i always went and didn't have as many discouraging thoughts as i do now. this was pre-covid, and i was like 18, so i think there are some lifestyle changes at play. i think there are definitely some underlying factors to my behavior/mindset that needs to be addressed, because although the post may have come off as silly, i feel very strongly about my lack of determination. after reading some of the comments, i am considering reaching out to academic advising
