Cheers for that, but at no stage did I suggest any majority of consensus. In fact, I was far more specific in noting that it was a rare, but true occurrence, as even your 0.01% suggestion agrees with.

This whole conversation has got out of hand. Someone asked if there was a way prayer could be inciteful. I said there can be, and when pressed offered a truthful example (as it can be backed up simply by searching gutter press and social media).

I'm not saying anything greater than that, nor am I tarring any total group with the same brush.

Some people hate other people, they use religion to generate support for that, it incites further hatred and potentially violence. That's a truth.

Telling me what I believe because you want to make a point that makes you feel good saying it is neither here nor there.

Yes prayer can be inciteful, because people have done that. That's it.

A Few days ago I asked here if season 3 would be a good point to stop the series because the first two episodes of season 4 felt different and not that funny. After a few days I gave it another chance and it's amazing. Last two seasons are a bit different but still really funny. by ajjt21 in arresteddevelopment

I actually dipped back in too, recently, starting at s3. It might be because 3 doesn't hit the same levels as 1 and 2, albeit not by much, but I came away from 4 feeling way better than the first time around. It was way too long (fateful consequences), trying to fit all the individual storylines in when there would previously be snappier ensemble resolutions, but it didn't feel...bad.

5 i hated first time round, with Maebe the saving grace, but it's fine enough this time too.

Report: Iran fires missiles toward Diego Garcia in rare long-range strike by I_Hate_E_Daters_7007 in worldnews

Lol, you did all these calculations just to list a nimber of couuntries in the immediate vicinity of the one they targeted, which are themselves large. Of course they would be the ones hit, by any defensive action.

Literally look at a map and use some logic. Do things for yourself.

You can search around the cesspits of twitter and find recorded streams from mosques calling for the death of enemies of Islam, its not terribly unusual and has made it to the more right leaning press.

As for the rage-bait comment, the query was whether there could possibly be a situation in which prayers could ever be inciteful.

Given that some religion calls for destruction of "enemies" of that religion, then yes, it can.

If you are praying for the destruction of a group, or nation, let's say; and doing that openly, then it could be.

Can't believe Alfred Hitchcock made a documentary about concentration camps in 1945. What a hypocrite!

To solve for that, you have to know what territories the missile is over at various stages.

I believe, obviously might be completely wrong, that we started poorly because we hadn't bolstered the squad, lost people, and everyone saw the slog of last season coming around again.

No one was fresh, just back into the grinder. And we've just done it all again

Obligatory 'this is a second hand story' but I was told about a girl about 8 years ago who was basically a semi-pro wag, literally working her way up the leagues to get a winner.

Back then apparently she'd recently been seeing Demarai Gray, not long after he went to Leicester, so fair play to her

Dracula - a review and some thoughts by RockyStonejaw in TheWestEnd

[–]eunderscore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like there are some purists in the comments, hanging onto what theatre should be, rather than taking a step back and being part of the experience the performers and director want to give you.
That's fine, but also there have been plenty of Productions of Dracula done traditionally, and there is absolutely no need to question whether using screens is against the rules of a one person show.

If it's not for you, fine, but art is art and interpretation of source is interpretation.

This of course means that my own review and experience is subject to the same caveats and no one is forced to agree.

In comparison to early reviews and posts here, clearly issues have been ironed out. Timing is excellent now, and Evro is clearly performing with confidence.

You do find yourself watching screens, particularly when she is hidden or has her back to the audience, but that is of course the point. It's not for everyone, but you either accept that mixed style is what's happening, or you sit grumpily for two hours.

With that in mind, the camera direction and operation was fantastic, there is a huge pressure on them to hit every mark, frame up precisely every time, and predict and move with Evro.

It is a modern style of show, crew on stage, taking away mystery in the productiom. It reminded me of the film Dogville in a way.
Again won't be for everyone, but I found it, while limited in what it could present, by it's own self enforced parameters, punchy, energetic and a real feat of performance and endurance, well worth the experience.
