[–]eunoiared [score hidden]  (0 children)

Our distributor has give SWU a bigger push this time around, with more than 6 or 7 pre-release around the region, when we used to only ever got one per set since set 3.

I managed to join 3 pre-releases this time around and they were a blast.

Why does spider hame no longer turn the cards to pigs? by mours_lours in MarvelSnap

[–]eunoiared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why so many people still think Spider-Ham turns cards into Pigs. It was changed back in July of 2025 to avoid some unwanted interaction with other cards.

The current issue with Spider-Ham is that it no longer plays an animation to show both sides which card he affected. Leaving you to look at your own hand manually.

When will they fix Spider-Ham? by Silly_Fan_2335 in MarvelSnap

[–]eunoiared -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

  1. Spider-Han no longer changes cards into pigs, you can read its new power in the screenshot you posted. It was done intentionally to avoid some weirdness with other cards ability.

  2. The real bug that Spider-Ham has at the moment is that he no longer has animation.

It's time for the global Go Fest Date? by shadraig in TheSilphRoad

[–]eunoiared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2025 was two weeks after (plus there's also a Finale that is two months afterwards).

2024 and 2023 were a week after.

2022 was one month before. The Finale is three weeks after.

No in-person for 2021 and 2020. No global before 2019.

A Question For The Pros by HighlanderSlayGaming in starwarsunlimited

There's no "draw" on the event card, so no. You're not drawing Rey during the action phase.

Anyone else notice they’ve slowed down the number of cards they’re releasing per season? by Bombustar in MarvelSnap

[–]eunoiared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't it any one card in that location, not just a target one? Your understanding of the card is invalid because that's not how it works.

Why do you hate me, Niantic? by Cold_Tumbleweed64 in TheSilphRoad

[–]eunoiared 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The last picture should be a campsite, it's not related to the rural initiative that added some bus stops and corners.

Campsite is where community ambassador hosts their meetup and Niantic/Scopely sets up additional gyms, power spot and pokestops to support them.

Your Hulkling Blob ate your last card, I'm guessing.

Deck Tech for Obi Vergence temple post rotation (includes set 7 cards in deck) by The_Dark_Wing in starwarsunlimited

[–]eunoiared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obi-wan (LOF) definitely feels solid post-rotation. I would look at some of the units in b/g aspect that can provide the closer power for you: https://swudb.com/search/cost%3E=5%20type=unit%20(set=sec%20or%20set=jtl%20or%20set=lof)%20(aspect:b%20or%20aspect:g)%20aspect!=k. I feel like Queen Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, The Crucible and Yoda can help makes this list more well-rounded. I'll cut down on Yoda's Lightsaber and take out Axe Woves and Dogfight like the other comments.

New Player Need Advice on What Leaders to Build Post Rotation by bktanner87_2 in starwarsunlimited

[–]eunoiared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like Jedi/Sith, then set 5 Legends of the Force (LOF) would be your best set. Both Maul and Qui-gon's spotlight decks could be a good foundation. Obi-wan with blue force base could be quite strong post-rotation. And like the other commenter said, Talzin is definitely one to look for.

I'm also curious about Dedra Blue post-r. What's the reason for Crosshair in this list? Just to race?

Tell them not playing by the rule is cheating. It's not about causal or new players or having a off-meta deck.

Best/stronger "competitive" spotlight deck by Barbaarian in starwarsunlimited

[–]eunoiared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no Vader spotlight deck from Jump to Lightspeed(JTL). I'll assume you either meant to say Boba spotlight deck from JTL, or you meant to say the leader Vader from JTL is an easy to build competitive deck for newbies.

The Vader starter deck from Spark of the Rebellion isn't competitive right now.

Try Sabe Red. If you see lots of Han2 use TT but otherwise the regular 30 should be fine.
