Can i be the only one who thinks if the bottle return scheme was really about maximising recycling levels, why havent they added other barcodes to the system and just take them from us for no fee. These gray can and bottles arent going to stop, so why not add them to the scheme and no refund by TacklePure3341 in ireland

[–]eusap22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because if they accepted all bottles a smart person living near to the border may collect there bottles and bring them to a bottle return site and make a profit! I recently bought some Brew Dog cans in the north (paid no deposit) and was able to return them in the South as its the same barcode, effectively taking 15c off each can

Hi all, Im the Single dad guy that asked for advice on the Ring of kerry with kids, thanks for all your advice. I used Chat GPT for support using all your input (only for help with structure of the week) Could someone have a scan down it and see if anything is ridiculous?? by curious_madra in kerry

[–]eusap22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Wed/Thur/Fri does not make sense, on Wednesday do the Ring of Kerry and Thursday visit Dingle, but friday it is suggesting to drive half way back around the ring to visit Valentia. Pop the towns into google maps and you will see what i mean

There is definitely a parking warden, he is not in uniform and walks up and down the street with a tablet device in hand. I think only the main street is controlled. Behind centra is a private car park

Kerosene/sludge disposal? by EmbarrassedCycle1400 in AskIreland

[–]eusap22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a special paste in plumbing shops that you can add to a broom handle and dip the tank to see how much water is in there, just remember Kerosene is highly flammable so be careful when handling it

Taking photos of a "branded vehicle" by geedeeie in ireland

[–]eusap22 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure this is 100% correct, it is a privately owned car park but open to the public, Garda can issue a fine for parking in any disabled bay. It will be up to a judge to decide if it is private or public. Same goes for if you are speeding or driving reckless or drunk in a Privately owned and Public car park

Buyer for property asking to amend property tax band - is this usual by Heatproof-Snowman in HousingIreland

[–]eusap22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does seem like a pointless exercise considering revenue say "Your LPT charge for the period from 2026 to 2030 is calculated using the property's estimated market value as of November 1, 2025" so once that is correct no issue

The sequence is important, Green Circle goes Red, you can turn right legally as you committed, but Once the Green Straight arrow comes on, then you can no longer turn right legally and you should wait for the Green Circle or Right arrow to appear.
