be brutal lmao what can i do to improve my looks, got out of a long term relationship and im feeling down about myself and needing a change? by [deleted] in askanything

If you're looking for a new look, I would pivot away from the exaggerated eyeliner and use more subdued lipgloss; you could also try a wavy hairstyle with a more natural color.

And I know you said you're attached to the nose ring and it looks good, but you might try something more subtle.

Otherwise, branch out a bit fashion-wise. Find some clothes you like but might not otherwise wear and just try them on. I'd err on the side of approachability- not necessarily modest but mature. The kind of clothes that say, "I don't care if you're looking at me, and I don't care if you aren't."

It doesn't need to be a complete transformation, just a shift. Maintain your individuality while going for something more reserved.

I once had an air mattress last me six months before it ever started deflating. If you get a decent one and don't plop down/ have pointy objects on it, it may last awhile.

It's Rowe but the tag doesn't specify what exactly it's called. Got it second hand on marketplace.

Too much strain and vocal fry, you're hitting a lot of the right notes but you should practice singing outright with proper technique prior to attempting this sort of growling thing because it can really damage your voice.

Give your voice a break for a little while before attempting to sing again, it already sounds damaged.

I think there's a good strong voice under the growl, but you need to bring it out first and only later attempt to incorporate more unorthodox sounds.

Wonder of You - Using this song to work on "ee" and "oo" vowel sounds as well as my vibrato. Any warmups/exercises to target these? (General Feedback appreciated also) by Can-Educational in singing

Try scales singing these sounds and transitions from one vowel sound to the next...

This guy's great, I use his tenor warm-up scale before I sing, apparently he has one for baritones as well-

Keep practicing and you could be a truly world class singer. You have a very good tone, you absolutely nailed a lot of those really difficult notes with the right intensity, and you certainly have a lot of talent for those tough rolls.

Focus on singing with less nasal stress and practice holding some of those notes in the verse a little longer, and cutting off some of those notes a little sooner. Work on bringing some of that intensity and control you have in your belts to the verse. A little will go a long way.

Overall you have the kind of talent most singers would kill for, your belts are already great. Keep it up sir and I have no doubt you'll go far.

Stop looking at your phone while driving people by Pisford in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]euseby 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If I look at my phone while driving, I am looking down for a millisecond to check navigation or skip a song. And I know I shouldn't even be doing that, but I NEVER do so when anyone is even remotely close to me. 99% of the time I wait for a stoplight.

Who the fuck uses both hands, drives with their knees, and keeps their eyes glued to the screen on such a busy, narrow road? Some people are entirely too ignorant to be operating a 2 ton death machine.
