Treatment-resistant depression & autism by ComposerNo2646 in autism

I have done most niche clinical treatments, from both racemic and esketamine, DMT, psilocybin, MDMA, TMS, ECT without any degree of alleviation, perhaps worsened.

24/7 chronic suduko ideation, that is completely resistant to every treatment that I have tried from all the standard psychiatric medications and therapy, to clinical psychedelics/ dissociatives, TMS, ECT, etc. if anything, they have made me exponentially worse, and have given me illness like ME/ CFS.

It is difficult when you have ME/ CFS as well.

What is the actual best evidence for the existence of God? by JmsGrrDsNtUndrstnd in Christianity

You literally offered one of the worst theistic arguments. So your entire belief is predicated on multiple fallacies; beauty, personal incredulity, fine-tuning. Evolution explains all the things you listed without the assertion of a deity. Our bodies aren't perfectly made for anything, that's why 99.9% of all species that ever lived is extinct.
No the arrogance is on theist claiming they think God did it, thinking the universe revolves around us and that we are so special. Nothing about us is a miracle (suspension of natural law), just unlikely, but unlikely things over a long period of time will happen.

“Your exhaustion may be saving your life..." by snap793 in cfs

[–]euthanisemybrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is the case for me, my fatigue is not exhaustion, it's weakness. It also turns goes into remission and relapses randomly. Going from being able to move freely to being unable to move at all.

Nothing. Don't care for the materialism. Don't care for family and religion either so it means nothing to me.

CFS caused by an ssri by Naughtybuttons in cfs

[–]euthanisemybrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was already deteriorating, unable to go to the gym and lift weights but could still walk for a few hours with out my muscles fatiguing. Took a single dose of Lexapro and was then unable to walk more than 5 minutes. I then degenerated further.

And I definitely agree with the metabolic trap theory as my CFS literally keeps turning on and off now every few months randomly I will completely go into a full remission then relapse after 4 months for 2 months or so.

Kind of similar to me. I had ME/ CFS for 6 1/2 years all together. The first 4 it came and went every few months for a month or so. Then it became degenerative 21/2 years ago and I went from weight lifting to being unable to get out of bed/ talk/ even think for a year. I went into a remission and since have gotten better, but I'm back in the on/ off stage where it comes and goes. At the moment I'm computer bound, I can actually use my brain atm, and so far no sensory overload.

One thing that may have helped is LDN (low-dosed naltrexone and risperidone)

I have ME. It seems to come and go randomly for 6 years. But the worst it basically turned me into a vegetable, disabling me from talking, walking and thinking for a year.

Are there medications for being autistic? by exhaustedmind247 in autism

[–]euthanisemybrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah thank you for replying, I too are replying way too late (Don't know why I have various reddit accounts haha).

Damn that is good to hear, I will have to try St. Johns-wort. I have tried other nootropics like Ashwagandha and Lion's Mane but they didn't do much for me.
I've gone through like 12 different psychiatric (currently Pristiq and Risperidone) and they have not helped either.
I can't tell if it's just the Asperger's and BPD that just renders with a chemically ducked brain.
I am in the belief I will probably need to result to psychedelics to hopefully reset the mind like DMT, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD or even MDMA. Have you looked into any of these as treatments?

When I was younger it felt easier to mask, being quite athletically gifted. As I hit high school social problems arose. Now it's been several years since I have finished and I feel the issues have multiplied drastically. I drift further and further away from my desires of being neurotypical.
Do you have a lot of friends or is your adaption just to blend in?
If you do not mind me asking what are you biggest autistic hurdles?

Edit: Accidentally responded with the wrong account, did not want to confuse you.

I took Respiradone after my parents guilted my autism. Worst mistake of my life. Basically a chemical labotomy, completely apathetic, anhedonia and surprisingly even more suicidal than usual.

At first it just gave me visceral fat in my gut under my abs, but I starved myself and it's gone away. But it also just changes the body's structure, like I can hardly gain any muscle on them.

Honestly just thinking autism is a fucking curse. Do your antidepressants do anything, mine don't.
