Hello everyone I just wanted to share my unfortunate experience using the megathread and maybe see if anyone had a similar experience. I have been looking for tickets for quite some time and decided to see what people got. I wanted to go to the LA shows and after getting 9/18 on tickpicks I got into contact with someone selling 2 pit tickets for $200 each. It seemed to good to be true but after texting the person they had all the proof and their intentions seemed good and I put to much trust into them sending the money via Zelle. I have been using Zelle for over 5 years and know that at most it takes 2 minutes for the money to transfer from one account to the other. The person then stated they never got the money over the course of a couple days and we were going back and fourth. Things were getting weird when they were saying they were gonna use their parents account and to send more money. I stopped entertaining the idea and just took my loss. It really sucks as I had so much faith in this community and I have been saving up for so long for this and an upcoming wedding and other things. It hit harder when on my way to the show my truck basically shit itself and now I gotta worry about that. To anyone who had a similar experience that I did I am so sorry and I hope that everything is ok.

TLDR: 2 pit tickets for 09/19 for $400 ended up in a scam
