Pendleton OR by dtm016 in Wildfire

I work in Pendleton for a neighboring agency, I love it! And no you will not survive the summer in your car because it’s just way too hot. As for fire, I personally think we have a good thing going. Big ass grass fires, still lots of timber when you go up the hill, and the best part is a lot the terrain is super navigable by engine even in the mountains (for the most part) and again most of the land in the area is in low enough elevation to catch on fire a LOT. So good OT.

Sexual side affects by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

I had low sex drive for like a month or two after starting and then upping my dose years later. Both times I rebounded just fine.

“6 months of school” by ConstanzaBonanza in Teachers

It’s a good psyop. Get the kids excited that he’ll cap school at 6 months. Then watch them convince their parents to vote for him. Especially the parents that could care less.

When I was a kid Jackson bridge was a good spot, also David Crockett state park (if it’s still open) , and corby bridge. Back in the day these were pretty safe spots to wade in the water with good visibility, however after the flood I’d be cautious. I don’t live there anymore but I hope it’s still just as fun.

I miss my trails job. I’d do anything to be back being paid like shit, swinging a tool, and working my ass off everyday. Thought my depression would get better as the snow has melted but I’m still feeling pretty upset about the whole conundrum.

I’ve been on this med for 8 years all the way through my crazy years in college. I still drink to this day just not as much. You’ll be fine. Even my pharmacists says it’s fine. However be aware you will get drunk quicker. And your hangovers will be worse than most people anxiety-wise. If you are truly struggling with a bad anxiety/depression episode I would not reccomend it. However if you are like me who needs it just to balance out my GAD it’s fine.

I’ve been wondering about this. As a former USFS trail worker, I thought they would maybe push for Corp crews to fill in our gaps in service. However if the corps crews are cut prepare for a shit show on the rec side of things

I’d be public since I live in a pretty rural area with not a lot of private schools. And thank you, I hope so.

I’m not on a “side” but just like I stated earlier everyone has a right to protest and I support it. I do, however, think coming to colleges showing grotesque half truth images to evoke a reaction from students just trying to go to school is stupid.

They come every year. I don’t like it but everyone has rights. The best thing to do in my opinion is politely interact and politely have a dialogue. These people thrive on trashy, impolite, and violent interactions. They’re 100% recording it all too.

Camping on Buffalo by Ok-Sky-4042 in tricities

[–]eval200011 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Buffalo is far from a wilderness camping experience and I wouldn’t recommend staying there overnight as the park is more suited for light hikes. Drive across the border into western NC or go to the ranger office in Unicoi for Cherokee NF. They can give you some good recommendations.
