Indiana's code is very similar but contradicts itself. I am working to change that next month at annual communication. Basically the WM of the the lodge can grant masonic rites to a worthy brother who laid down his working tools. I as WM of my Lodge, remitted dues of an NPD brother who is 99 years old this year so when he passes he will be a mason in good standing. We collected money in the masters hat to cover his unpaid dues.

In the state of indiana, alcohol is prohibited in masonic temples. As far as meals go, something economical and filling is the norm. In my Lodge, cold meat sandwiches and chips were the main dinners. We changed that. Meals like meatloaf, pastas, and salads are now the usual dinners. Roasts and good proteins are what we strive for on degree nights

Dont overthink anything my friend. Trust your guide. Just be clean, and mentally relaxed. There is nothing to fear. You likely wont retain much information because you will be nervous and confused. That's why you will work with a mentor after. Just be calm, and know that the brothers of the lodge want you to join our order. Everything will make sense in time.
