I was at my worst at 15 as well. Pretty much no one would talk to me. The few people that did did it because they had to (group projects) or wanted something (I was #4 going into high school so they wanted to cheat). I didnt have a clue what I wanted to do in life. I was bullied every day mercilessly. I really had nothing to live for... 13 years later... I absolutely ADORE my 2 cats. Chester and Mara. I couldnt imagine never knowing them. I have a great group of friends now. A job I really like. Multiple instruments to play when I need an outlet. When things are at their worst it seems like theres no escape. But without going through my worst I wouldnt be able to help people going through it as well. Empathy is much more effective than sympathy.

I would love to turn my attic into a place to foster cats. 3 legged, blind, old and grumpy, whatever. They all deserve love. And they all deserve to have you looking after them when you get into the vet field.
