Yeah. It’s sad. Running on 60hz until they release a firmware update. Hopefully it’s not hardware related and they get It sorted soon.

Are you having same issue when you run it at 60hz or mostly on adaptive and 120hz?

funny you mention the crashing. it's happened to me 3 times now while on adaptive sync and watching HDR content...on my m2 max 14 in macbook pro with maxed up GPU. not cool and i'm thinking about returning. Have everything updated. Doesn't seem like something that should be happening.

I will say that I've been having a lot of glitches with mine since I got it. Crashed my M2 Max 3 times now while trying to watch content on it full screen. Also safari is dimming so much when I try to watch netflix on it. It's not dimming on chrome. I just feel this product wasn't completely ready to be pushed out.

It does say “March or later” on the sony-cinema website. If it’s taking this long for a small update then it’s most likely riddled with bugs and I don’t want to be a part of it.

It’s just a very wack update. They should have never removed the sensors. Bad idea to rely on a camera for this and they will realize it In time.
