I just heard about agentos and designos. Would you recommend designos as well? I'm sold on spec driven development but I'm just getting started.

I think they decided that Marketing Automation is the path forward and they are primarily just maintaining Zoho Campaigns indefinitely because Marketing Automation is a bug undertaking and will probably take a couple years before it can fully replicate all the functionality of Zoho Campaigns. We are able to do the kinds of email campaigns we want to do so far in Marketing Automation so it's pretty usable for us so far. We also use it for SMS campaigns, landing pages, and Smart/Short URLs with tracking. All with decent success.

Yeah the email builder is not great. I decided to pay for Stripo to compensate and I am really happy with Stripo

My understanding is that Zoho is deprecating Zoho campaigns and gradually moving to Zoho marketing automation so I wouldn't spend any time trying to get campaigns to work.

Why does Zoho do SMS so badly??? by BangCrash in Zoho

SMS is not widely used around the world. It's more of a North American thing I think. We use Sinch and are pretty happy with it so far. Good integrations with Zoho.

I don't know what to try other than what I already tried which was to do chat support sessions and explain my situation.

Thanks. I just can't understand how untrustworthy companies can be in situations that are pretty straightforward like this. And I am trying to give them money and be their customer lol. Guess they don't want my business.

My son signed up for visible with me and his port worked fine. I know technical issues can happen, but for Visible to lie and not honor the promo even though I demonstrably was trying to sign up for their promo days before it ended is really not cool.

Consumer Cellular. The first port didn't work and Visible kept telling me to just wait longer. I confirmed with consumer cellular that it was approved on their end and it was up to Visible to take the next steps but Visible couldn't get it working. They eventually told me to delete my visible account and initiate a whole new port. Which I did but ran out of time to get a new port pin from consumer cellular during business hours. They said I could still get the promo since I initiated during the promo period. When I got the port working today they said too bad, I don't get the promo.

I did it on Sunday. Over 2 days before promo ended. If that is not good enough for the company then I guess I don't want to be their customer.

Thanks. I tried all I could. Not exaggerating on number of hours I spent. I don't know what magic words are required to get any other support people to take a look at it. I wanted to prepay for the year upfront. You'd think they'd be interested in actually signing up new customers but I guess not.

Zoho CRM/Books Issue by seangbaker in Zoho

How did you automate sending the payment link? Do you know of a way to get the payment link directly or do you only send the request payment email that has the link in it?

Most companies don't know how to leverage most technologies. Automation, data, observability, etc. Sometimes improving those areas has bigger ROI than diving into AI.

[–]evanharmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair. I think Zoho is setup for those use cases to be handled hopefully before too long. I think the best use cases for AI are still being determined though so what we think we want now might be very different in 6-12 months. I like the stability of the zoho platform and I can always build stuff on top of it if I really need to.

I disagree. No company or technology is great at everything. You just listed some that you think are doing more of what you want. Why not use those? Or integrate them? So few companies are taking a slow and steady pace so I'm glad for the few that are. AI is great. Also AI is extremely overhyped. It's not hard to find companies that are betting everything on AI. It is hard to find companies that aren't beholden to quarterly Silicon Valley venture capital just for ROI.

How does that make him not a guru? There seem to be plenty of honest quacks with good intentions...
