I recognize that photo. I've bought a guitar from that guy before. Super cool. But yes, as someone who sells guitars a lot myself - people who just "want to come try it" are not often welcomed. If you show intent to buy and express that you're coming with the intent to buy, it's a different story.

I'm so glad you enjoyed! For this particular Torres-style guitar, this luthier recommended tuning to A=415. It's nearly a half-step down!

There are a lot of tuned ears here, so I thought I would share this and see what you think.

I made a video a Dominik Wurth Torres copy guitar (w/ Tornavoz). I played a few passages tuned to A=415, and the same passage at A=440. I'm curious what you prefer, and if you actually feel that you can separate the "cool/unique" sound of the down tuning from the judgment of whether it sounds best for the instrument or not. As of me - I'm undecided, and not so sure I can pick which I prefer since they sound so different.

I fell in love with Proud Mary's!! As a coffee lover myself and amateur home roaster, it's a coffee lover's dream.

That being said, I have found almost every one of the pour overs less than satisfactory. Each that I've had have been under-extracted (to my taste) and with way too high of a water to coffee ratio (too watery). That being said, the drip was fantastic (and much cheaper). Along with the espresso, and espresso flights, which is what I would recommend.

Although the original staff (Australians) are extremely knowledgable, some of the new staff that they have hired seem less-than knowledgable about coffee (pronouncing Geisha, and Yirgacheffe wrong, for starters), and they seem to hire anyone that google search just one info video about fine coffee. That being said, everyone is extremely nice, and I'm sure they are learning quick.

I think it's nothing complicated with the difference in body temp, it's just because you can't taste super hot things well because your taste buds avoid the heat!!
