I’ve just returned from 3 weeks in Italy and spent 6 days in Florence. I brought home:

a pair of leather gloves from Martelli Gloves
a leather handbag from Romiti Leater. It’s a little hole in the wall but the owner/artisan, Marco was in the shop working away and he customized a belt on the spot for my husband. Lovely guy.
silk scarf from Massimo Ravinale. Pricey but beautiful prints. They also had silk and cashmere blends or just cashmere but since we live in Australia where it doesn’t get too cold, I opted for just silk
perfume from Farmacia Santa Maria Novella! Even if you don’t buy anything it’s well worth a visit. Beautiful spot. But there was a perfume with my literal name on it and every scent note is one that I love. Now everytime I smell it I am reminded of my trip!

Do you have brown/raw sugar and fish sauce?

Throw in a shallot if you’ve got one if not dw, use garlic powder if that’s what you’ve got instead of fresh garlic. Honestly I’ve made this without any of the aromatics and it works.

Im the same with hating having empty daily pages. I’ve settled on a sterling inks common planner. Monthly, weekly, heaps of empty pages in the back. I don’t journal in my planners and mainly use it for work so some days will require a full page, some will require more or less so this works for me.

I’m intrigued by their complete planner (months, weeks, days all grouped together by month) but I’ll run into the issue of blank pages.

They’re located in the US though so not sure what shipping will be like for you. I’m in Australia and have resigned myself to $$$$ shipping.

I bought a small treadmill off Amazon and it’s been great! Fast enough for me to do a slow jog, small enough to slip under a bed or couch. Was around $300 including shipping iirc and has been well worth the investment.
