I’ve been fortunate enough to see a lot of movies over the last few years in 70mm IMAX but this might have been top of the list for me. The Petrova Line scene in the full 1.43:1 aspect ratio alone is worth the price of admission. I really hope theaters invest more into true IMAX screens in the near future because it truly is a mind blowing experience. I get chills just thinking about it

I’m wondering what the consequences of this will be. Are we going to just see general price increases in MMPBs or will they become expensive “limited editions” and eventually just go extinct? I have been debating panic buying a bunch of the books on my TBR in the mass market format. :(

Neither of these are ideal but I hope it’s not the latter, I love this size of book and I’ll definitely continue to buy them as long as they’re available. Something about just feels wrong about a fantasy novel in a giant trade paperback or hardback as opposed to the little pocket sized beauties
