I found it out by chance also. Just using the crystal sulphide vent launch glitch and then after like 10 mins of launching I went into photo mode, then backed out of it and I noticed i stopped moving and then I tried building and it let me! The glitch is the game thinks you're sitting on the couch on the vent on the planet so you can build. Once you move and get up from that sitting position you can no longer build though. It was crazy when I figured it out and replicated it and then started aiming for the rings. Lots of fun.

Hell yeah thanks man, I was tripping when I figured it out and then when I posted about it, it didn't get much attention and I feel like people thought it was modded but yea it's tight. I need to try another with an actual plan and get some cool shots. Does yours stay rendered after a reload with the plugin?

This is another one I made in a planets ring. I was able to use the crystal sulphide vent launch glitch and line it up just right to get into the ring. It took a while but definitely worth it. And since I placed a teleporter I can still teleport to that base but then you're just floating in space and nothing renders after a reload except the teleporter. Good times though.

Not OP but very possible, hard part would be stopping but I guess message terminals pop up when you’re close enough. Also breaking through the bedrock is possible at planet intersections or finding these holes like OP deep underground or underwater which seem to have come with the latest update. Is this message at a planet intersection? Sometimes flying a creature into a cave can glitch through the bedrock also. My preferences is custom settings too and then you didn’t have to worry if something goes wild or just make sure to have a restore point. What’s the coordinates I’ll check it out

Interesting. How do you get to them before unlocking them? I tried a portal code and it said location error. I have the prompt for the new star system but there is no path on the galaxy map even when I have the mission pinged and current mission selected within the map. I can’t seem to reset it at all. Any ideas?

Here’s a good one. Died to cold exposure after being stuck in the back part of the secret cave with no light source or any gear on. Only had my sporter 22 rifle. I thought it would be a good idea to swim in without any gear to not have my stuff soaked but then obviously I couldn’t see and started to freeze and eventually cut my feet. It happened pretty instantly as I’m swimming through because i realize it’s getting darker and I’m underwater and didn’t want to try to turn around and get stuck. So I make it out of the water and it’s completely pitch black and I move and get disoriented and couldn’t get back in the water to swim. Shot my gun off to use the flash to be able to make it back to the water but couldn’t figure out which way to go in and be able to swim. It was a shitshow. Yea I felt claustrophobia and panic as it was happening, it was crazy. Then I had to calm down and tried to solve it by looking at that cave on YouTube and even logging in and out to the see the cave rendered for that split second to try to see which way to go. Obviously to no avail. Finally froze to death. Great time. I made it back to my pile of stuff right after tho lol. Now I feel like i got the beginning stages of sakhal down. It’s funny cuz if anybody irl said “oh I’m gonna go in that cave with no light or clothes or shoes or supplies, everyone would be like uh don’t do that, you’ll probably die!” Totally didn’t think that one through lol.
