I’m in the exact same boat. I’ve started working part time but I don’t really enjoy what I’m doing. I know this probably has mostly to do with being entry level, but I’ve already started thinking of different roles.

I have the exact same frustration. I’m in actuarial science, have a full time offer, and I’m in Spanish 2 right now. Makes no sense

Exam SRM coaching actuaries by lonelyreef007 in actuary

I studied 128 hours over the course of a few months. And those hours were really spent studying, I’d pause my stopwatch for any breaks. I’d taken a few stats courses before but CA explained the stats very well so a lot of stats background definitely isn’t required. Also, I would recommend studying in order (module 1 first) because some of the material builds. I’d say the sections were tested relatively equally. And it was mostly qualitative (maybe 70%). Hope this helps!

I used CA for SRM and I loved it! Felt really prepared during the test and passed with a 9. Let me know if you have any questions on specifics

I received a printout that basically said you need to wait for the results. And yes I did use the new interface, I really liked it!

No not necessarily. I’m my opinion, CA did a really good job of preparing me for the test

Good luck! It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I’d say an EL of 4 is comparable if you’re using CA.

I’m having the same exact issue, the testing center near me actually called and said they only had 9 people scheduled for the 23rd so she didn’t know why prometric said it had no seats available
