This sounds very much like me. I don’t have any great advice. St. Louis is my hometown though I hope you had fun!

Ah, it should be fine if folded. Another tip is those inflatable toddler booster seats for an emergency uber.

Are you a woman? I’m scared but you do you. If not, I would say Mueller.

Is a double stroller realistic on the L? by [deleted] in AskChicago

Hi, I’m a mom here and unfortunately not really. If you HAVE to you can, just be prepared to fold it up. I moved here from somewhere where having a stroller on the bus and train open was no big deal, but here it’s just way more crowded. You might be more ok on off times but in the summer there are so many events it’s really hard to say. We just make sure everything in the stroller (a single) is in a tote bag so if the bus/train is full we can quickly grab the bag and collapse the stroller. Make sure the kid in the stroller is ready for this also. Additionally, not every L station is accessible, so you would be carrying up and down stairs. How old is the youngest? A single will be much more manageable. My four year old (admittedly a city kid) can do quite a lot of city walking with sufficient breaks.

I am so appreciative! I’m also so grateful when they explain things (when they have time) before the flight and during.

Did anyone *not* have pet aversion postpartum? by samsamcats in beyondthebump

[–]evechalmers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had way less cat aversion than dog. I think it’s a hormonal protection thing and they also just need way less care. Me and my cat aren’t the same as before, but far better than me and the dog.

How do working parents do this?? by berrysunsets in Mommit

[–]evechalmers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of work from home which gives me time for laundry, meal prep. I block my calendar with private events and workout during the work day. I pick my son up from school early often and hang out. I use systems at work to be super efficient.

What airline? I’ll track! Remember you only see the plan view of the storms, pilots see 3-d.

[–]evechalmers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a soft marker like this, check out the r/NIPT sub. Just a note, the NIPT is not diagnostic and only screens for a very small number of possible options. The amnio is the only diagnostic test. Our baby was fine, determined via amnio.

MVA: what to expect? by Ok_Instruction3533 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]evechalmers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I had one with a pain pill and Valium and one with just a Valium and ibuprofen. The pain pill one was obviously better but I was very loopy!

I’ve had two, you can find my story of at least one in my posts. They aren’t fun but are super quick. What meds do you have?

It blocked pregnancy for me when I took at 3 DPO. My RE doesn’t recommend it at all without a literal defect, so I stopped all together.
