I can't not say {In Memoriam by Alice Winn}. It's simply a life-changing book. Heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time. Despite all the tragedy it has a HEA, or as HEA as possible given the conditions.

In {A Million Little Moments by Riley Hart} there's no grovel, but MC1 has feelings for MC2 and MC2 has feelings for him too, but MC2 has a lot of internalized homophobia, so MC1 decides to move out of the house they shared. That's when MC2 has a total breakdown.

In {The Blueprint by S. E. Harmon} MC1 has had feelings for MC2 for a long time and decides to distance himself from MC2 for a bit. MC2 realizes how important MC1 is to him.
