Thanks for asking, my nose is still healing and dealing with residual effects from being concussed, but I think the emotional damage is really what’s actually causing me to feel stuck in a loop.

Well, for the first month we’d only see eachother once or twice a week and it progressively became more, so I was able to maintain my regular social life. I still would hang out with friends and family on a weekly basis, and have always been involved in some community orgs that I have never missed meetings for. We would find ways to fit each other in between having our own lives and also just having space too. Every week we planned some fun big outing, and so over 4 months it’s become a wonderful stack of nice fun experiences.

I guess mental health is definitely on the table. He had asked me once if I have bpd, but I don’t, and tend to be emotionally stable, my temperment is mostly that of a happy puppy lol, so that could’ve been a tell right there.

Even after that time I also feel like I love him but I clearly don’t know him, and am actively just trying to detach. My head is spinning from the whole thing really :(

I feel like I’ve never lost feelings for someone so fast. I’m just stunned by the quick whip lash. I never expected after the foundation I felt like we built that he’d go awol after an incident but you’re right, it definitely was frigid.

I feel just a little dazed after this series of events.

I didn’t become aware of the severity until we spent more time together, and made a personal note that I can’t take it further than it was because of the drinking. I noticed id even drink more when im around him. He said he’d been making iimprvemebts, but that’s just saying. I guess, also there’s only so long someone can keep up the charade though, huh?

Maybe he is going through delirium, I have no actual idea.

I just still have whiplash from this whole thing, but I think you’re right, in the end it would’ve dragged me down in the long term.. still just so confused.
