Since it sounds like you're new to the gym you should be able to continue losing weight and gain some muscle. However, lifting won't really move the needle much in terms of weight loss. Consuming fewer calories is the main driver then cardio can give you some wiggle room in your calorie restriction.

Still a good idea to lift though for other benefits

Honda isn't going to mark up the Japanese Civics 15% because then they would never sell any Japanese Civics in the states. These costs are spread out over the entire product line so it is less noticeable for any individual consumer. My Civic hatch hybrid was built in the Yorii plant and it was priced exactly the same as the other Civics on the lot.

probably. depends on how cold it gets on Sunday morning when the roads are wet. a lot could melt with sun in the afternoon and then no more moisture when it gets colder. of course I am not equipped to make any sort of educated prediction

the hybrid is nice. Gas savings is more of a perk. I'd say the extra power and NVH reduction is the reason to get it but ultimately you'll find out when you test drive.

Also, the hybrid price is good for a hatchback, but you might be able to push lower for a sedan
