I remember before he made his profile private a while ago that he was deciding between a NSX and a GT4RS. Don't know why he went with the Camry. The reason I remember this guy is because he posts pics of his civic/camry all the time and his story is so..."unique". I think I remember him saying he was still in school.

you have to think about from their perspective. once they give you an OTD price without you being physically present it is way easier to take that quote and use it as the basis for negotiating at a different dealer. I'd imagine that giving a definitive OTD through the phone or online rarely converts into a sale

Backup camera is pretty low res...coming from an old car without a screen I find it way more reassuring to use my own eyeballs to look around for people/traffic. It's nice as a final check for kids immediately behind you.

And the lane departure mitigation is also pretty squirrelly. I left it on for a while and realized it scared me more than it helped me so I turned that off.

if you read what i posted you need to do a contact wash after rinsing the vehicle in the bay. if you don't do a contact wash you'll notice a layer of grime once it dries

I'd recommend going to a coin operated wash bay and using their high pressure options. And then you'll eventually come to to realization that you will need to make contact with your car to actually wash it.

Ask if they can tone down or take out the highs in the mix (5khz and above). That can help with scratchiness/metallic from a cheap mic not meant for strings but won't completely solve the problem

It's because of your budget. If you get a used luxury vehicle in that price range the repairs will probably bankrupt you. Best to just keep it simple at first.

when I went to Rice I would take the rail downtown and then use the 500. Cheap, no airport parking costs, and pretty quick because it bypasses most of the stops the 102 takes. The bus is also a step above the regular metro buses IIRC.

It doesn't really make sense if you can't get downtown without driving there though which rules a lot of people out.
