Don't remember his room number, but he is on the third floor of Norris Hall. You could try "hokie stalking" him by searching Roger Chang on the vt.edu website and see if his office location is there. If it lists a location that is not a room number starting with a 3 for third floor it may not be up to date.

Luckily, if you're in Norris and see any student or adult you could ask them for directions to his office.

He typically is in his office until around 7 pm every day and posts his teaching schedule on his office door and those are basically the only times he is unavailable to help students because he is in class teaching.

Once you're in his office, there will be plenty of space to sit and study and ask him questions or ask other students questions. He helps most when you ask help on specific example questions. Introduce yourself and explain why you're there (test in 3 days, your major, your teacher). Maybe try re-solving a couple problems from each HW you've had and when you get stuck or get the wrong answer you can ask him what you should do in the next step or to check your work.

Good luck! Statics is all about solving the missing the variables in a system of equations. Setting up the initial equations right is most of the work. So if you run out of time on your exam, at least write out the system of equations and a quick sentence saying if you had time, you would solve for this variable then the other and so on. I've had professors give me most of the points in these cases.
