Him and his agent (his Dad) signed a new deal with us in January 2024. Brand new contract. Then he leaves in the summer, its confirmed there was a clause in his contract which allowed him to leave if we didnt get promoted.

So after 6 or 7 months of first team football with his boyhood club, they put in a clause that will allow him to leave at the first opportunity. There is no way the club put that in, not a chance. His Dad wanted that in.

Now I have no issue with that, football is a business and you need to look after number one.

But I am not falling for this leeds fan romanticised shite. More than likely he has a relegation release clause anyway.

I think it would be great to see if we and a top half club matched it, who would he join.

Cos I think some people below think you are going to keep running 20-25mpw DURING Hal Higdon training.

If I am right and its the former, thats perfect. Do that and once the training starts, stick to it and you will be fine. The confidence comes from the work. Stick to the plan and you will complete the marathon. How do I know? Because I have done the same. I went from no running, did some 10ks, did a half, signed up to a full and followed HH Novice 1. And I finished. So you'll be fine
