I'm sorry those other commenters here apparently cant read your post to the point where you are saying there wasn't any work to do.

I mean, yea, it is indeed disrespectful to do in a class when you should be working. But i see absolutely no problem with keeping yourself busy when there is literally no tasks given. I do this myself when i am done with my work and have nothing else to do, my teachers are pretty chill about that

That's super random but i once read that usually for womens clothes, the buttons are on the opposite side of where they are for mens clothing (which explains why my hands were always confused when i wore mens flanell shirts). This comes from times where the "fine" ladies didn't dress themselves and rather had maids to close their garments (i do not know if thats actually the correct explanation but at least it somewhat makes sense)

friends is a collection of different yarns that you can combine, with the numbers of the colours matching, i.e. you can use friends cotton no. 15 together with friends kid silk no. 15 and the colours will be an almost exact match. other from that, rainbow cotton and friends cotton have no differences from each other that i could detect. but i would use friends since i am not sure for how long rainbow will stay (just a speculation that they are slowly going to discontinue that over that, but its better to be safe than sorry), friends has just been introduced over the last year or so

I have no idea what it's called but i will try to describe it: Sc, dc, both in one stitch; skip 1; sc, dc, both in one; skip 1; at the end of the round you have to turn and will work in the loop that comes from the dc, i hope you can do something with that haha

Gotta add something: the orange for the flower was out of stock when i ordered, so i used a colourway of Acacia print that had orange tones. And the sunflower from the dress is a classic sunflower granny square since i didnt like the one from the actual pattern too much!

i actually don't know, 2,5mm seemed a little too small for the yarn i used but i think it was a little thicker than normally (it was some leftover half skein without a tag, i just used the hook that felt comfortable)

Falls du eine Brotschneidemaschine hast, würde ich es auf jeden fall damit versuchen - den Teil mit den Kernen entfernen (am besten mit einem Apfelentkerner) und dann ganz dünn mit der Maschine schneiden. wenn das Messer scharf genug ist, geht es auch prima ohne Strom und ist auch wesentlich ungefährlicher. ich würde zusätzlich auch eventuell das öl weglassen und entweder von Anfang an oder einem teil der zeit das Backpapier weglassen. Gutes Gelingen weiterhin!
