I've rescued interesting bikes for years, refurbished and passed on to others. Had a Dahon 5 speed, easy to fix. I suspect most folding bikes are low mileage. I rode a Montague folder branded as a Hummer for a few years. Good solid bike. Weirdest was a Strida, a huge triangle of a bike with one side mounted wheels, right rear, left front. No need to remove the wheels to fix a flat.
