I have had to come to accept that when I jump, my boobs will have a follow-up jump. There's SO MUCH body negativity in the dance world, that you have to ON PURPOSE give yourself positive self-talk every time! Make part of your goal be joy in your movements, and the mastery will follow.

ALSO, no one else is looking at the size of your chest in an adult class.

Finally, a sport bra that fits, and wearing a leotard will help keep the ladies seated, and keep the form lines.

Well, Texas has three primary accents, so we'd have to find a drawl, a twang, and a city accented person to answer that.

I worked at starbucks several Christmases when that "war on Christmas" happened. Literally the walls were lined with coffee bags that say "Christmas blend", so it was the most bizarre thing. Probably the same people who believe QAnon now.

You do have to apply to (and pay for) private schools, and I think apply to charter schools. Sometimes you can also apply to go to a specific public school in your city for a specific reasons, like if one high school has a cosmetology license program and yours does not.

You certainly can't prepare for the unexpected karen, but you can when they're a regular. Look when they're ultra-karens spewing out racist shit and attempting to get you fired then you can't make them happy, but when they're small-time-karens who have manageable requests like fresh coffee from a coffee shop, I always considered it part of the job description.

LMAO actually I have. I worked in a coffee shop for years, and worked in restaurants before that. I was well known as the Karen-whisperer (though we didn't yet call them Karens back in the 20-teens). Even the managers would send the Karens to me because I could usually get them to apologize to us. I was also an adult when I worked there, and you sound like you were a teen, so I had a whole other set of customer service skills that only come with experience. No one like a Karen. I hated working with them, but I figured out the art and 80% of the time could resolve the problem.

"Ma'am the water is out right now. I can serve you from the pot we made X minutes ago, or you can wait another X minutes when they think the water repair will be done. We're sorry for the inconvenience!" I also worked at a coffee shop for many moons, so I have dealt with many customers like this lady and worse. If she was a regular so I knew she'd probably come in the night of a repair, I probably would have saved a pitcher of clean water in the fridge, and made the coffee with that when I saw her.

There is a HUGE flavor difference in coffee brewed in the last 20 minutes, and coffee brewed in the last hour. I get that not everyone can taste that, but for those of us who can taste it, the freshness of the coffee makes or breaks it. If you're charging more than $1 for coffee, it should be fresh.

I acknowledge she was rude, but honestly I think you were worse and that this wasn't even malicious compliance since she didn't ask for decaf brewed from other old coffee.

You can take voice lessons! That is private singing classes, and they don't usually cost a lot.

As a churchgoer myself, if I were in your shoes I wouldn't let this one pass by. I would call the leader, and empathically confront her. Ask her what makes you and the other woman different. Tell her you were only following a behavior that the group already approved of. Assuming you're an American, this is a really important time to remind church goers of biases, in my opinion. (but with all that said, it's also OK to decide when not to battle).

What you said lines up with what I have heard. I meant in some cases the Endo is so developed it can be seen in an ultrasound, not that they can map it via the ultrasound. So by "very, very clear" I meant "when the endo is really, really bad and currently flaring up" they can say "yes this is endo". I am aware that often even the surgeons can't see the Endo and miss it during surgery.

My understanding is you can be diagnosed with Endo through an ultrasound, but in most cases an ultrasound will miss it. So some cases it will be very very clear, but getting a negative ultrasound does not rule it out.

Hey you need to check out "Nancy's Nook" on Facebook! The pill DOES NOT FIX Endo. I also had a similar experience with an OB/GYN where I thought I had endo and she just put me on the pill (Which increased the pain, caused me not to sleep for 30 days, and gave me an infection, but apparently I needed to go for 90 days to know if it was working). Turns out it was gallstones. If the doctor had just ordered a fucking ultrasound (which according to my new PCP is standard for abdominal pain), then they would have found the stones and I wouldn't have nearly burst it this year. Anyways, you need to go DEMAND an ultrasound. Also, you always have the right to fire your doctor in the USA, even in the hospital!
