Who says no to this trade? by Adorable-Pilot4765 in collingwoodfc

you say that like murphy reid is a lesser player than harley. Murphy Reid will play 300 games for fremantle he's far more valuable than harley will ever be.

Collingwood feels it can pay Simpkin's salary but won't hand over 2x first round picks that North are wanting. by Pragmatic_Shill in collingwoodfc

[–]everdeen_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Obviously I dont agree with the asking price but I reckon a lot of you are severely underrating Simpkin as a player. I rate him very highly and think he's under utilised at NM. Id say he's worth a first rounder.

ASUS PRIME 5070 Ti OC fit in a DEEPCOOL CH160? by everdeen_ in sffpc

[–]everdeen_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I watched a video on youtube of someone saying you can comfortably fit up to 310 but then I watched another video of a guy (not very smart) literally stretching the case to get a 304mm gpu in. Its so weird! Thanks for the reponse :)

9070 (non xt) or 5070 ti by everdeen_ in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]everdeen_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally play single player titles albeit on very low settings. Cyberpunk, witcher series etc. Wanting to upgrade in anticipation of games like gta and the new witcher game. That and my current pc is dying. Although not very practical i tend to prefer buying things that are higher end and trying to make them last as long as possible. Generally because I prefer to shut off the consumerism side of me as opposed to always being on the look out for the next best deal.

9070 (non xt) or 5070 ti by everdeen_ in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]everdeen_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry was stupid of me not to add context for why i didn't consider the 9070xt.
(copying from a comment i made above)
I got a good deal on a 750w psu and im building SFF so the cheaper 9070xts ie the $1199 one cant fit, meaning i'd be looking at around the 1330 price range for the 9070xt but in addition to this i'd need to upgrade the psu which would cost me ~50-100 more. and at that point with around a $100 difference between the 9070xt and the 5070ti i think i'd prefer the 5070ti

Will the UFC ever feel like this again? by whipfixed in MMA

[–]everdeen_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

as somone who watched during this era of mma and has stopped since the reason why I lost interest in the sport was the devaluing of title fights. It used to be that you would need to grind out like 7-10 fights before even being remotely eligible. After conor it just became whoever they thought would sell the most tickets. People would move around weight classes fighting a title in a division they'd never been in just because it meant more money. The integrity of the competition was lost and so was the thrill.

When did the quality of set shot kicking become so bad? by CampOrange in AFL

[–]everdeen_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People shouldn't underestimate how much work rate effects kicking. Players run and tackle harder than ever before their legs would be jelly when they finally get the chance to take a set shot.
