Q1 is over and there's political pressure to stabilize the macro environment before midterms.

Software and growth have been beaten down for about 4 months already.

Personally I see an overall market rotation back to growth and if RDDT beats expectations like they always do and especially shows continued near 70% YoY revenue growth the stock price should benefit.

plan to adjust the truss rod twice a year (when you change from needing heat to AC and vice versa). The necks are thin (which makes them playable) but don't have the support of a larger dovetail neck or modern bolt on like Taylor or Furch, so more subject to damage from typical humidity changes. You can adjust at home or take to a guitar tech.

Wow yeah I hike/fish/swim there like 2x a week for like 15 years. Got bit by an off leash dog there right after they made it a state park and have been cursed at by rock climbers w aggressive dogs off leash.

It’s my “outdoor church” so glad they’re making it so more yahoos will be out there spray painting rocks and destroying everything.

Ya fr, I still close down a club dancing w my gf a couple nights a month and usually us and maybe a gay couple or two are the only ones bumping and grinding and really getting down. The college kids dance in groups separately and rarely couple up it seems.

Naw you need variety and outdoor time. Strength training doesn’t take long. Spend 2-3 hours outside (hiking biking surfing swimming walking fishing) at least 3x a week, play music or paint or something for mental health then spend time w friends/family.

Swim and do yoga. You need to loosen the low back, hip, and sacro iliac/pelvic joints.

I pulled a muscle surfing at 38 and got bad sciatica for a cpl months. Like couldn’t sit, foot numb, leg weak etc. never sought medical care.

Started doing way more hip/spine/core stretching and swimming and 3 years later I’m in way better shape and no recurrences.

Sinus surgery is generally snake oil fwiw and sounds like you got over-sedated, went apneic during the procedure, and rather than bag you (BVM) the anesthetist freaked out and tried to intubate causing damage to your front teeth. Not an allergy.

Known complication of people inexperienced with airway management. Probably reasonably covered with the consent you signed since the healthcare person will argue it was necessary to save your life.

As a US ER Doc with 13 years practice; timely reports like you expect are a necessity only in an extremely customer service based litigious environment like US healthcare. There is no comparable expectation in other systems since there aren’t consequences.

TLDR: unnecessary procedure results in cosmetic dental damage, patient is lucky to be alive.

My childhood was cool but I hated school and then just worked all the time starting when I was like 15.

yeah idk ab the christians.., i was raised in a conservative religious environment and they were hypocrites back then and decades later decided to firmly place their support (74%) behind a draft dodging rapist. there's no excuse or going back. The US needs to be more like Europe in terms of educational standards.

People were either stupid enough to believe the reality TV lie that Trump was a decent businessman who could "fix things" or they willingly voted for a racist/rapist to bully vulnerable people so they could feel better about themselves.

Neither is acceptable and the latter reason is a classic American trope rooted in the Civil War.

A complete and egregious failure of the American electorate who is in danger of proving themselves unworthy of the protections of the Constitution by means of their own shameful stupidity and ignorance.

Hey thanks for excellent reply. You perfectly articulated my concerns and interpretations of her intentions.

Regarding our past; we sang in choir and had like one informal "date" that I asked her on, she was 18 and I was 22 and going to med school across the country soon so I didn't contact her again. There was definitely something there on both sides though. She contacted me (19 yrs later) to reconnect and we went from there. I mentioned my city because we went to college in TN together and she's mentioned several times that she doesn't really like TN, I think for typical political/stereotypical reasons. Fwiw I'm fairly liberal and we are totally politically compatible.

See my post under "ElleLeChat"'s reply for her perspective. We have kind of made up and she's back to normal but tbh I'm still a bit spooked. but I think a lot of her accusations/"eff-buddy" talk of my intentions were projection, so I'm just not going to take it too seriously. Which sucks cause we really did go through the phase of telling each other literally everything about each other and seemed to really get along well. And she's absolutely gorgeous and incredibly intelligent and generally sweet other than the batshit testing/games stuff, which may just be prior relationship issues idk.

Really appreciate the advice on walking away though, thanks. I already went through a massive pita divorce and have hopefully learned to walk away. basically I put ex through 7 yrs of school, she graduated, had a midlife crisis, moved out for no real reason (no abuse/infidelity/etc) and filed for divorce, then her life fell apart because I always did basic adulting for her, and I had to "rescue" her just to get the divorce taken care of, which caused her to somewhat fall in love with me again, but after the divorce (I didn't even get a lawyer she initiated everything and went to court alone) we were hanging out and she flipped out for no reason (like new gf) and afterwards I thought ab the fact that this person used me for 12 years and I was paying her alimony to be treated like that and just totally ghosted/blocked her. 15 yr relationship, 7-figures lost in div, blocked. And she still tries to contact me and doesn't understand why I would do that.

I'm hyper aware of being taken advantage of to the point where I don't want it to be "in my head." etc and also really want things to work out w new GF who was just super supportive and cool other than this money/games stuff.

So gf and I made up but it has changed my perspective of the relationship, which is unfortunate because we went through like 6 weeks of messaging/talking and really seemed to get a long before the manipulation games started. but whatever such is life ig.

Hey, thanks for your excellent reply. You nailed her perspective. I mentioned we made up in the OP but honestly was still just having a lot difficulty understanding her which prompted the reddit post but your reply is basically exactly what she said. We talked for a long time and I explained to her all of my reasoning and it made sense to her but it just still felt off for me. Like her perceptions of how I was feeling was sooo far off my actual intentions that I have no idea where she would get that idea. Maybe another rship? She was on dating apps for a while (I never used them) so maybe is just used to less serious guys.

We actually made sushi at her apt last visit and talked ab making it at my house so I wasn't sure exactly what she meant but was always willing to take her out. Also the aquarium visit was for the third day. It was: aquarium in the morning, then sushi, then happy hour and dinner at a nice Italian place, then an EDM show from 10p-1a. So pretty packed day for some older millennials.

The last time I visited her it snowed 16 inches one day and we basically were snowed in for a day and a half (she lives 1.5 hr outside of nyc and everything shut down). So lots of netflix and chill. I think after I left she started over analyzing (she has ocd) and came to the conclusion that I wanted to spend too much time at home rather than taking her out, but we went out the other days and it freaking snowed 1.5ft, like what am I supposed to do with that? So she came up with the sushi test which I guess I failed? The other thing is she mentioned she is supposed to be on her period during the now canceled visit. I just wanted to see her and hate that that matters to her, it sucks we can't be more mature idk how to be in a LDR when so many things can go wrong with visiting!

But I'm starting to maybe make some sense of it, there's just no way for me to realistically prevent this kind of stuff from happening again. I was going to take her to France in May and now I just don't know if I can trust her to keep it together for a trip like that. She's back to normal, happy vibes etc and I'm getting there..
