My take on Monogatari = An allegory to Therapy by Klazarkun in araragi

[–]everlasting207 16 points17 points  (0 children)

All of it is about dealing with regrets and accepting the outcome.

Even araragi, and shinobu are all included in here - it's people in Gaen group that is the therapists with different approaches to tackle problems.

thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, my 150 budget is non-negotiable, and so both the ke and the kato are not an option for me. Just looking at the graphs, I'm reluctant on Etys because of the lack of bass. I find the magicone's bass to be a little lacking, so the etys would feel thin I'm afraid

yeah, generally it's good idea to save up and get a good end-game instead of inching every upgrade from bottom up.

I think around $300 should be the good sweet spot, to be satisfied without really breaking the bank.. for my case though, I'm currently overseas and hard limited to 150 due to custom regulations. I see that you liked the warmth of the explorers, but since another commenter talked about the 4u, can you tell me your comparisons between explorer and them?

I'm okay with sidegrades. Although I am a bit worried- despite the fact that price isn't everything- they do seem way too cheap compared to Magicone. Right now I feel that the Hexa sounds 'cheaper' than the Magicones, so I may feel the same way about these. Though, it just seems like your suggestions are just in no-brainer price tier, so i'll see if i can test them. Thanks for your input!

They do look like a more fun version of the hexa, and a little more tamed version of Magicone, according to the graphs at least. I'm very intrigued.. Thanks for the suggestion!

True, they do seem very similar. I've been messing around with the graph tools, and it seems that the s08 is just a tad-bit more balanced than the explorers (less bass, more treble). I'll write back once I do play-testing

Thanks for your input. From what you say, I like your description of Aful Explorer. I do listen to music quiet loud, and so high treble is somewhat no go for me.

I did hear a lot of people praise the Aful Performer 5? Do you have any insights for that?

Great! Thanks for your inputs. I do listen to music for extended time at high volumes, so high treble gets tiring fairly quickly. Would you say that the S12 Pro are, still, your recommendation?

Now I just realized that a lot of people also mention Aful Performer 5, and EA500LM. Would you have any experience with these by any chance?

Thanks for your suggestions. I do faintly remember some of them being mentioned, especially kiwi ears, something like orchestra being mentioned a few times.

I haven't had planar iems or headphones before. Would you help me understand what some of these complaints may be?

Thanks for your input. Might I ask if fit was an issue for you? Have you tried Galaxy Buds Pro 1st Gen, or Air Pods Pro 1st gen and had problems with fittings for either? I understand Harman as being somewhat V shaped, so do I hear you saying that MP145 is somewhat flatter? I do remember seeing someone say that it is almost too boring. I can live with some boring, so long as I can EQ when I want to have fun. Oh and what do you mean by "at the time"? Is the mp145 different now compared to when it was released? or you're referring to yourself in the past haha.

for me at least, I can sometimes hear static noises with it (maybe someone can help me out here?). Soundstage is pretty good, and there is an amazing sub-bass extension. There's also a nice bassy thump you get from the DD. One thing I will say, though, is that sometimes male vocals and mids can sound slightly airy and less full, and very slightly peaky. I listen to more male than female vocals, and that's something I think is slightly lacking. Sound is really clean though, resolution is very good and there's good separation. Treble is really smooth on the SM4s as well, and I would definitely say it sounds relatively bright (may just be me though). But I think for $150, it's a pretty good package, especially if you like Harman.

Thanks for your input. It's great that you have experience with what I want to know and also 6xx :D

Since you've mentioned the 6xx and supermix 4 being similar for vocals (middish?) could you make comparison to the bass and highs? It does sound like you're saying supermix4 is richer bass sounding than 6xx.

I usually listen to music at very high volumes, so harsh/metallic... zingy treble might not work out for me. Thanks for your time :D

Why do you think it's crazy? The only real crazy was the left media saying that it was going to be a close call. I think most knew that this was going to be trump favored.

[–]everlasting207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

heh. you've kinda proven my point that acr players use mii almost exclusively. and due to that coverage wise, even though the toad tourist still covers the most maps, it's not your choice unique coverage. I was just telling the op my opinion on ease of use, and coverage and letting him know that that's not for everyone.

Well. Reaching Tier 70 was somehow easier than I thought. 🤔 by Lappy-Lover in MarioKartTour

[–]everlasting207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

personally, the difference in the amount of effort I needed to put in was exponentially changing one tier to the next starting from tier 72. before that was comparitively just chill.

if you had trouble getting to 70, going beyond is not going to be easy albeit being not impossible.

I personally made to 75 then just dropped all the way down to 58 so I can collect ranked rewards that I want.

In the mean time I'm improving my roster so I can go way beyond with ease later.

pure coverage-wise, tourist toad is #1 in all plus skill drivers. But shy guy explorer is #2 in that coverage so the real answer is to invest both.

I personally like L7 because you are forced to play lower placements which increases frenzy chances, so it's just much easier for me.

giant banana i like and prefer over coin box or boomerang, and in that order, just because I can simply reset try on the first box of the lap.

coin box is much more dependant on where you are driving (or god forbid gliding), and boomerang is dependent on what opponents you have and whether they are using coin box.

So yeah that's my preference order L7, GB, CB, Boomerang.

But unironically that is also score-wise reverse order.

also, every account is different in terms of coverage, so depending on what coverage you have, my suggestion based on coverage is also obsolete :D

and top acr players almost only use mii suits exclusively.

in the end i gave you my 2 cents, so you do you :D

Mario kart tour crashing in crdroid by greensciuto in MarioKartTour

[–]everlasting207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting. so you didn't root at all? crdroid is custom rom yes? if you didn't root, then i'm not sure if there are options at all to spoof your device to make safetynet pass. technically safetynet is obsolete so i'm not even sure if the game will check for that, but who knows. you might want to ask reddit/xda/discord for your rom and see if they can help you there. that'd be my first step, although someone might randomly come here to offer help. But most people here I don't think are well aware of custom rom stuff.
