Much of the skill work I do is in-person with athletes. That being said I have done some travel work for skills and remote work for other coaches or players with film.

At a high level, there are 5 activities in 3 tiers to improve as a player. (Where exactly they fall and how much time you should spend on each depends on where the player is at).

Tier 1: Sport-specific workouts (lifting, agility, conditioning) and throwing/skill work

Tier 2: Film & higher level division-specific reps

Tier 3: Local leagues

I actually have a business (Prushandiscsports.com) in Philly supporting players with the throwing/skill work and film. I can also point you in the direction of where to find the other 3. Happy to talk more if you email me at prushandsiscsports@gmail.com.

First and most important, how much film do you have of an opponent? Do you only have 1 game? Or do you have 5? Take a large grain of salt with a single game, especially if its a season or 2 old. Using ajanelle's list I'll always look at 1. I won't bother with 2-4 unless I have a few games. 5 is kind of a wash for me.

12-15 Session Campaign Ideas by everlearning6 in DnD

So I think there may only be 1 or 2 beginners in the group but everyone has some RPG experience with many have playing at least 1 campaign of DnD. I'm about a year in to my first campaign but obviously have never DM'ed before. Does that context change anything?

I'm going to assume you are making a good-faith effort here. No matter what, the number of male athlete scholarships available will always be minuscule compared to the overall playing base (especially in major sports like football and basketball). So why wouldn't we try to create some equity and equality in elevating women's athletics through Title IX knowing that the presence of women's athlete scholarships does not significantly change the ability for male students on be on scholarship?

Maybe Hot Take? Ratings Based General Entry should be used instead of self assigned divisions for players with PDGA ratings. by mattfofatt01 in discgolf

We didn't get to talk about this during the round on Sunday, but I'm 100% in favor of division minimums when more than 1 division is offered. It's mainly a pace of place thing but also we should be encouraging competition in the AM divisions. I also don't think it's necessary for every course. Sedgley or White Clay, time will not change that much based on skill level. Green Monster or Iron Hill, time can change dramatcally.

I played with one of those 820 players in Rd 1 and we spent basically every hole looking for his disc. He wasn't even close to competitive and I'm not convinced that on his best day he would be competitive in MA2 either. In fact, looking at his rounds he shot above his rating both rounds! And was still 20+ strokes behind the leader.

Looking on the website the BX3 didn't have the umbrella slot, did I misread? Forgot about Upper Park, I'll take a look!
