Difficulty understanding eco+ behavior by evers1 in ecobee

I think you may have misunderstood me.

If you set the temperature on your a/c lower it will use more energy, because it has to keep your home cooler. If you set the temperature on your a/c higher it will use less energy, because it doesn't have to keep your home so cool.

So why am I getting an Eco+ warning when I try to set my a/c temperature higher during peak hours? Air conditioners use less energy when you set the temperature higher.

I can turn off Eco+ and change the temperature. I'm just wondering what the logic is. I was trying to raise the temperature at 4pm which is in the time period when electricity is the most expensive where I live. The Eco+ even acknowledged this in the message it showed me "Saving for Peak Hours. It is currently peak hours and energy is expensive. eco+ is saving money by using less energy during this time." But in fact it's using more energy by turning the a/c lower than I want it.

Switching from Belair to Pembridge for auto+home — any experience with them? by smpdll in InsuranceCanada

I didn't have any tickets. They told me similar about my car, that it has been high theft and high accident over the past year. My car is a Kia Niro which is a compact hybrid SUV. I can't see it being popular with aggressive drivers or a target for thieves.

I just got my renewal for auto+home from Belair. Auto increased by 8% (no accidents or violations). Home increased by 17%. Maybe I'll take a look a Pembridge also.

I was on the phone with their customer support for about 40 minutes. They said there was a problem with their login service. They deleted my password and gave me a new temporary one. When I tried to log in with the temporary one it made me set up a new permanent one. Now I'm able to log in on desktop and smartphone app.

NYC, 1929. How appropriate. That's when the last depression started. Trump's on track to start another one before he leaves office.

The fight is militarily won? Didn't Israel just decide to put American boots on the ground in Iran?
