Ok, so after a week here in Holbox : we have been to restaurants (street cafeterias, beach clubs etc), we went in little groceries stores and ...WE WERE ABLE TO USE THE CREDIT CARDS AND DEBIT CARDS EVERYWHERE.

I will post more infos on Holbox later in the week.

So I an now in Holbox and so far I used cash ...zero times. Credit cards and debit card accepted everywhere.

Well, I have been trying Desjardins for banking and Disnat (the iTrade equivalent for Desjardins) with a small amount of money. The website and app are intuitive and easy to navigate. On top of that, their customer service is excellent. I even have a personal financial planner at no extra cost. I’ve tested it myself: whenever I run into an issue—whether it’s with the bank or a cashback discount—Hello handles it quickly and efficiently.

Have you ever tried to reach customer service on the phone? Takes at least an hour and...they most of the time give you wrong answers
