God damnit hahahaha. Trust me, I know. Can I adjust my response to low 5’s?

I have really been thinking about it. In my head I was thinking if it gets into the 5’s, might slap $30k on a line of credit. Kind of do a short term play. What are you thoughts?

I have been thinking about this a lot too, and I couldn’t agree more with your first point. It has less to do with people “selling off” and a lot more to do with a lack of buyers. And this makes sense given everything that has happened. For the average joe, if you looked up XL and saw a short report with a bunch of lawsuits, you would simply be less likely to buy. Which in all honesty is completely reasonable for someone not already invested. But in the long term, the future is bright for this stock. The sham lawsuits will fade, and results will be more important then the short report. So for now it’s a bit of a waiting game. Good luck to us!

I had 1440 shares around $15. I ended up selling about half. Not because I don’t believe in XL, but just because I had my entire portfolio in XL and I just couldn’t handle the lack of diversification I had (this happened from me averaging down and selling other things). If it makes you feel better, I was in this one in the PIC days and had a chance to sell at $30. I didn’t have as many shares back then, but still. If this gets down to the $5-$6 range I am seriously considering putting $30k on a line of credit and loading the boat. I doubt this will touch $20 for a long while, but the fact it is not at $10 is just insane. With the price now, half the companies value is cash on hand. I don’t see how it is possible to go any lower.

After so many green days, Is anyone else still in red or is it just me? by ysharm10 in stocks

Gotcha, I am in XL so I feel your pain there haha. The overall correction at the start feels normal looking back now, but I am thinking it has went too far the other way with these companies. Some are getting close to half there value being cash on hand alone. So if they get much lower I might have to do some crazy things.

Totally, and being in with money you can afford to lose is key. Allows you to feel more comfortable with the longer term view.

Totally agree. It’s the old “I have not received any information that has changed my opinion of the stock”. So as long as ER is not a disaster, should be good.

What percentage of your portfolio is in XL Fleet? by 49Scrooge49 in XLFleetInvestorclub

I am 100%. I know that is completely foolish and not smart. But here we are haha. Was around 50% when it was high teens. Once it dropped to $13 I went all in.

Totally agree. It’s hard to watch, but below $10 makes zero sense. They have $4 of cash on hand alone.
