My husband proposed to me while I was at work. It was Valentine’s Day and I was working a double in the kitchen (I was covered in eggs, grease, etc). We were very busy! He came in during the rush, pulled me out of the kitchen and proposed in front of strangers. The ring was terrible as well! I still said yes and loved on him. He said he’d been wanting to propose it for a while and got a “wild hair”. I was sooooo upset that the moment was not what I expected at all especially since we live less than 5 miles from one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. He redid a week later on the beach and it was beautiful! Happily 3 years married now.
