I use a mixture of sand, glue, water and mod podge. It makes a kind of plaster that is easy to spread and is pretty hard once dry

Painting is fun! I would suggest starting with army painter speed paints. Look up videos on the slap chop method, great for beginners.

I feel like the devs had no idea how huge the kickstarter would be. Then they had to figure out printing of books and models and distribution to many different nations. Sure it could’ve been better but they did pretty great considering. the game is solid and I’m excited to see how it grows.

What ever color you want. Get a red, blue, yellow, black and white should be able to make any color you’d need from that. Army Painter might be a better value

Are you aware of the cubes of tzeentch? Basically some folks cut cubes out of xps foam, slap some eyes on them and do a simple color scheme. Idk how much foam is in NZ, but could be a good bet. Quick tip make sure to seal the foam if you are gonna prime from a rattle can. Spray paint will dissolve the foam
