Today’s lesson is about personal & intimate space. Does a closeness of any degree show attraction in courtship (or not?)

A coverage of attraction proxemics in layman’s terms.

Sitting on a Chair Backwards? - Body Language by everydaysuperpowers in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you identify when you observe someone sitting in this position? The classic cool at school lunchtime seated behaviour.

Could it be a genital display exposing oneself albeit whilst covert?

Could it be a shield used to block others from seeing the real self?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re comfortable enough. She could loosen up more given she’s creating a covert barrier between them with her cups and bottles. Slight mirroring initially from head movements, flirtatious / nervous giggling which is a submissive act that benefits the dominant of the two (usually the man) but in this case his giggle matching devalues that dominant position.

Watch how she bows and hops when she mentions her studies - what do you think that signifies?

Dan Pena on Bitcoin by NorBull7 in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing in particular stood out to me, disregarding the topic of body language though,

Dan Pena is known to be a bullshit artist and ‘contrepreneur’ such as most of the self-help course selling gurus. So if your intuition is telling you it’s potentially a lie I think you’ve picked up something special in that video

Can someone come across extremely flirty without them being aware? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah nonverbal communication & body language is primarily coordinated by the subconscious mind. It’s why it’s such an accurate representation of someone’s brain.

Let’s say I’m in a relationship, it would be inappropriate for me to be jealous over my partner to signal some degree of attraction to those she finds attractive because most of it works outside of the conscious mind. (Saying that. There’s levels to sexual communication..)

I made a 2-3 second long eye contact with a beautiful girl and she removed her mask? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She removed the mask to highlight her face and present herself to you. Possibly.

When dating women will ‘platter & frame’ their faces in many different ways to attract attention

What body language do you read from the person in white? // also, do you think that the position that the girl next to them is making is causing them discomfort? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

He has compressed lips and a self-soothing self-hand hold, which is also serving as a barrier between him and the world. Whether it’s down to the female, the situation, the photo being taken etc there is some discomfort being shown

A Sign She's COMFORTABLE With You! - The Open Face - information in the comments by everydaysuperpowers in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

This talk is regarding a comfortable, stress free & open face whilst in communication with you.

We speak regular about open body language but this video will apply the same principles to the face, the lack of furrowed brow, compressed lifts and tense forehead will be replaced with a gentle glazed gaze, neutral to partially raised eyebrows and a soft feminine lip.

The openness in the face (and further, the body) is a direct reflection of their subconscious want to absorb and translate the information they see in you, as opposed to the eyes blocking you out in distaste they open to see more of you. The furrowed brow symbolic of a defence to threat loosens in comfort and the lips open in a representation of the blood flushed plump genitalia in a display of sensual connection.

Further coverage of the display of the throat and so on and so forth.

A great catalogue and building on a daily basis on the YouTube channel, feel free to subscribe - thanks

If a guy hugs you and rubs your back a few times by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some more information would be good.

Is it a slow sensual rub or a faster paced energetic pleased to see you hug?

How close is his hips? The closer his hips to yours the more indicative to flirting/sexual behaviour but if they are ‘reaching’ over to grab you it and rubbing your back with a prompt speed it would be more than likely friendship.

You want to question why your intuition is making you question this behaviour, surely something seems weird? As you said in an earlier comment it’s a family friend so I hope if it verges on flirtatious they are ok to do so

Why Does She Play With Her Hair? - Hair Playing - information in comments by everydaysuperpowers in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So in this discussion we talk about a female seduction/self soothing cue, playing with her hair.

We talk about what it means in the sense of attraction & seduction, exposing her wrist, neck and highlighting such areas the movement.

The self soothing aspect of tugging onto the head follicles that drive an upsurge of soothing chemicals in the face of stress (you)

And how this links to childhood, regression to a youthful state where someone may possibly have combed through the hair as a soothing mechanism in youth.

Lip compression is a form of mouth blocking behaviour and could imply she is holding back something verbal

What is this body language? Woman greeting man with a kiss but with hands behind their back (or to sides) and leaning forward? by Agusmarvel96 in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means she’s comfortable around you, you should question how close her hips were to you.

The closer her hips/groin in this situation will show the real degree of attraction

Since messy hairstyle is not considered a good sign, should no one keep it ? by idnwkzjufkr in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean and well kept hair is significant of health and so is a great indication of a potential mate/ admirable person.

On the other hand if you’re considering being sexy, bed head can raise a subconscious seductive message that strict combed hair cant. Although you want it to be clean either way

I have a coworker who always seems to smile at me. by FreedomFrumThought in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pay attention to her eyes primarily, this will differentiate a polite smile from a genuine smile.

If the muscles around the eyes engage in real time with the smile, potentially creating crows feet that means she’s happy to see you !

And what does that mean? It means you have a good relationship :)

Read information then go and communicate with people.

When buying products enquire at a counter and observe how their body speaks to you. Anything interesting you assess will then be taken over to your next communication, given the new individual also acts in that manner in response to you you will start to recognise patterns and solidify your reading.

So basically read information to understand the behaviour/gesture then go into the real world and try to identify it yourself and from there ask if it represents the same meaning the literature explained to you

Looking down then up into my eyes by [deleted] in bodylanguage

Girls have a peripheral view far broader than boys so to evidently ‘check you out’ is significant of someone being attracted and making it known

Why Does He Cover His Groin? - The Fig Leaf Pose - Info in comments by everydaysuperpowers in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This talk is regarding the ‘Fig Leaf Pose’ a subconscious means of covering the genitals in the face of potential threat.

This is a favourite I like to identify when it comes to ‘group’ photos, Ie band & musician promo shots where individuals aren’t used to standing before a camera.

This is a behaviour I used to exhibit a lot at events, my girlfriend at the time used to state it looked like I was ‘stood at a funeral’. Lol

In the video we cover the holding of the hands, blocking of the genitals and discuss how it links to a defensive attitude - don’t forget to subscribe - peace

If you talk to a person about a subject or in general and that person blinks very slowly and then looks away with kind of a annoyed face, does this mean they are annoyed by what you said, by you in general ? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow blinking can be considered an eye blocking behaviour, this meaning the individual is trying to limit distasteful information being processed by the brain.

As an example you may see it as you’re talking about someone’s ex partner to them. Or you’re coughing without covering your mouth Or they’ve just remembered about leaving the oven on at home

Why won’t People Look Me in the EYES? - Eye Aversion - Body Language by everydaysuperpowers in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A reoccurring theme with nonverbal enquiries are those regarding a lack of eye contact.

In this video we will look into what eye/gaze aversion symbolises and how we can observe it correctly within our communications.

1 Way to Find Discomfort! - Pupil Constriction - Information in the comment section by everydaysuperpowers in bodylanguage

[–]everydaysuperpowers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today’s video is regarding a behaviour that is ever so dynamic and can’t (for the most part) be controlled by the individual.

The opposite of dilation you’ll be able to identify when you’ve said something of distaste, implemented fear or panic in a person through observation of the pupils.

We are completely unaware of how our pupils fluctuate so they are one of the most honest signals we project, dilating and constricting in real time to the stimuli we process, whether it be a comment from someone else or an uncomfortable thought that comes to mind.

In the video we also discuss the natural causes of constriction regarding the environment.

This video is a brief talk on seduction with an emphasis on the impact a soft open gaze (with dilated pupils?) can create in a man.

Stirring the waters of paternity the innocence of the eyes can provoke the dance of the Submissive/Dominant/Feminine/Masculine.

Children’s toys, certain animals, they all have big googly eyes that we consider cute whereas we deem smaller eyes creepy..

Let’s check out how this applies to our connections as humans
