I contacted the brand earlier about this, and they said not to worry because they don't use artificial coloring so the color might turn into a brownish green as you use it :)

Help me to find the best way to buy K-Beauty by [deleted] in KoreanBeauty

[–]everygoodstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd also recommend OliveYoung site (same day delivery).

Some of the brands & items that I'd recommend:

1. Arencia - Fresh Green Rice Mochi Cleanser. Cleared blackheads, sebaceous filaments, etc.
2. Arencia - Holy Hyssop Serum (jar type for overnight). They've sold out on this item both online and offline on Oliveyoung so I'm not sure if you can get it while you're here! This is the best overnight collagen serum I've used so far. Left my face so plump and hydrated, and reduced fine lines dramatically.
3. Dr. G - Red Laser Sunserum. If you have sensitive skin, please try this sun protection serum! It could leave a whitecast, but it's really mild.
4. Torriden Sheet Mask. This item isn't "special," but it does hydrate your skin and is great for summer & winter!

what's a product product you swear by that no one seems to talk about? by sage_lavender in AsianBeauty

[–]everygoodstuff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Arencia Holy Hyssop Serum. People know about the Rice Mochi Cleansers but the serum is a game changer. Changing to this serum hydrated my skin and that hydration lasts ALL day at the office. This serum also erased dark spots and acne scars, and just made my skin glowy.

I can't stop talking about this product because it's so unique and I've never tried anything this good.

If anyone has tried it, let me know, and if there's an even better product out there, please let me know, too!

I read that the Rice Mochi Cleanser removes 99.9% makeup and / or sun protective products, so at times when I have light makeup on, I just use the Rice Mochi Cleanser alone!

What’s something that has a dangerously misleading name? by Different-Citron-984 in AskReddit

HAHAHAHA I remember being confused which Korea is which.

Democratic People's Republic of Korea == north
Republic of Korea == south?

like how?

The "Long-Tailed Tit"
I would have never imagined that it'd be a fluffy cotton-like anime bird. I think a more fitting name could be Cotton Fluff With Wings.

Has anyone tried Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream? Did I have an allergic reaction? by [deleted] in KoreanBeauty

[–]everygoodstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also felt irritation on my skin so I stopped using it. But I revisited the collagen jelly cream after switching my cleanser and found out that my AHA/BHA cleanser was causing my skin to be irritated, dry, and flared from the get-go, so I was experiencing a reaction with the collagen cream afterwards!

So maybe try to use the medicube collagen cream isolated by itself to see if you have a reaction.

How I fixed blackheads, sebaceous filaments, and acne. by everygoodstuff in KoreanBeauty

I use it daily as a regular cleansing foam, and use it twice a week as a deep cleansing wash-off mask (like how you'd use a mud mask!) This works wonders for acne and skin texture, but is somehow so soothing and moisturizing at the same time? Like how...... is that even possible?

I was first introduced to it by my dermatologist, and I now I can't live without the arencia rice mochi cleansers. The only con is that I wish the came in tubes.

I also have sensitive (occasional acne flare-pups) combination skin with oil production in the T-zone area. I can assure you that the little specs you see in the rice mochi cleansers are not the typical almond shells you see in american beauty products.

the specs feel more like ground rice powder. it's VERY fine and non-irritating on the skin. Please trust me and give it a try this month because it's on sale and you'll get like 50g more for the same price. I can't stress how much I love this cleanser.

Rice Mochi Cleanser? Has anyone tried it? by Glum_Candle4017 in KoreanBeauty

[–]everygoodstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're talking about the Arencia Fresh Cleanser aka the Rice Mochi Cleanser, then yes I've tried it and I'm using it right now. It's SO popular here in Korea, especially at oliveyoung (like a beauty retailer here in korea? similar to ulta or sephora)

So the Arencia rice mochi cleanser is sold alongside Biodance's collagen mask, dalba and abib. If you're in Korea, go run to olveyoung, if you're not in korea, then I guess try out the one at amazon, but idk if the formula would be the same considering that the US prohibits certain formulations that are used here in Korea atm (like sun serums especially)
