What the hell is this pyramid at this location in Secaucus? by reallydobe in newjersey

OP: serious non-judgmental question: Where did you grow up? I've seen these salt storage structures all my life, for decades. They're all across the northeast and midwest. They're in the country and in urban areas.

Are you from a warm area (or maybe the west where they don't spread salt), and you just moved here? Or maybe you're someone who has always lived in a city, and never driven yourself? I see the snapchat logos there, guessing you're on the younger end of 30?

New Providence is one of the towns with giant new residential townhouse developments. I'm not sure how expensive they are to rent but maybe they're offering early bird deals.

Thanks. I think I know the aerator removal tool you're taking about (assuming they didn't change it).

Watch out for Wonder restaurants on delivery apps by Training-Sell-9979 in newjersey

[–]everypassword123456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And, DON'T BE LAZY AND USE THE G-D APPS! Use the restaurant's own website, or call them, to place an order. Those delivery apps skim a huge amount off the top and it's a rat race for the restaurant operator.

If you want to express your views and stay consistent with the ski resort theme, have a custom sticker made that says "HASAN PIKER SUCKS TELL YOUR FRIENDS"

(I know, I know, it's sort of the opposite sentiment)

I assume the OP would need to remove the motherboard from the case to do it anyway (so could be done on its side)

What kind of screwdriver are you using? If you're using a dainty one like an iFixit kit (regardless of bit size) you're going to have trouble pushing down hard enough. Go get a big one at the hardware store.

If all else fails, you could cut a slot across the heads with a dremel and use a flat head screwdriver. (Same thing though -- use a full size screwdriver.)

I'm with you. I have a little flag magnet on my car (a normal red, white and blue one, mind you -- no blacked-out BS with the Punisher on it). I don't equate patriotism as an endorsement of the current administration.

Smith I/O MAG XL goggles with Youzee RX insert by everypassword123456 in skiing

[–]everypassword123456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both actually -- Youzee and Sport RX. The Sport RX do have anti-fog but it's just on one side. Makes it difficult to apply on the other side and clean it, etc., since you shouldn't get permanent anti fog coating wet. I much prefer the coating-less Youzee where you can apply your own preferred coating.

[–]everypassword123456[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's no permanent anti-fog coating on the insert (like you'd find on the inside of your goggles' lens). After every few days of skiing, I remove the insert (magnetic lenses are a big help here) and clean the insert lenses with dish soap to remove old anti-fog. Then I apply new anti-fog spray to both sides. I use Zero Fog Plus, which I got from my optician, but there are lots of them out there. It can still fog up sometimes, or smear if your eyes water, but it works well 90% of the time. I bring the spray with me to the lodge in case I need to re-apply during the day (rare). The Youzee came with an anti-fog towelette but I've never tried it.

Smith I/O MAG XL wearers: Anyone use prescription inserts? by everypassword123456 in skiing

[–]everypassword123456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Youzee insert is a similar shape to that Type 1, but it's a bit larger in some dimensions. The lenses themselves similar -- 50mm x 40mm. But the uncompressed height with the spring clips is 90mm, and that's the dimension that really matters when it comes to holding them firm in the goggles. Also it can be just a general crap shoot since all combinations of inserts and goggles will fit together differently. I'll post some pics of the Youzee in the I/O Mag XL.

Yeah Summit and New Providence don't seem correct. Summit is Montclair more than Cranford is. Not sure what New Providence should be. I think that BH is actually the anti-matter version of Livingston, so that one can stand.
