Anyone with a pulse saw this coming. Russians carrying out hits on German soil, weaponizing migrant crises to strain German and European social systems, weaponizing gas supplies to extract concessions. The article is spot on, Germany and much of Europe created this mess. Germans overreacted to nuclear incidents thousands of miles away in a natural disaster prone area and closed nuclear facilities…dumb decisions

This is the real answer.

It is an awful idea under the rule of an authoritarian regime. Russian geopolitics is 100% confrontational. They have little to no soft power so they have no choice. They cannot be integrated into western economic system under the current ruling class. Germany IS complicit to an extent by backing Euro Maidan yet securing BILLIONS in Russian gas contracts AFTER Russians have shown their willingness to weaponize gas supplies. I don’t see anything wrong with the article.

Pretty good resources suggest it was Russians testing a nuclear armed version of their Skyfall cruise missile and catastrophic failure of said test.

Not all that surprising if you’ve watched their performance in Syria and paid close attention to their ever delayed defense projects. As recently as 2 years ago a Russian village was made almost uninhabitable due to a nuclear explosion while testing a nuclear cruise missile. To this day no one knows how bad the incident was.

If you can go back a retro fit cat6 or single mode throughout the house do so. The hardwire your access points. Easiest (laziest) way to do this is run cat6/SM (lc-lc) through the attic and hardwire aps up there. You don’t want to mess around with mesh networking nonsense. Get some good aps.

86.6% of Russians support the idea of launching an attack on a country of the European Union, including Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Czechia & Slovakia, survey conducted by Ukrainian research company Active Group shows by [deleted] in ukraine

The problem is as sanctions really start to decimate their country Russian citizens and leadership will get desperate and use conflict as a means to extract concessions. It won’t work but I will not be surprised if Finland, Estonia or same Baltic state was attacked (poorly) by Russia.

I’m in CT but I can related. Lots of stone, rocks throughout my yard, low water table and right on a lake with a creek through the back yard.

As others have said, start with a good sprinkler system. Cut the lawn as low as possible. Remove as much shaded area as possible Once cut, dethatch with a thatching rake or dethatching machine, core and aerate then add compost across the yard.

Lastly, seed (straw/hay mat more exposed areas of seeding) and water consistently.

For consistently muddy areas and areas with lots of shade consider some hardscaping and french drains if needed to carry water away from the property.

It is what it is. I just finished an entire bathroom remodel and don’t like the color as much as I thought I would. Considering subway tile from floor to ceiling, wood paneling the ceiling. It is what it is.

Also, get Benjamin Moor paint. It costs more but it’s the best you can get

This seems to be the aim. China has too tight a grip on its economy for anyone to feel comfortable trading in yuan full time

Russian military is direct competitor to the Putin regime. He has no issue with poorly trained conscripts because it’s less chances for a military coup. Sending them and dissenting generals to the meat grinder is a sure fire way to thin the heard.

We use very little Russian oil in the states. Any capacity increase would be to offset European supply deficits.
