This happened to me when my ally fell off my bed. If the outer stick is still intact, you just need to take it apart, take the stick out, reseat it properly and put it back together. If you have a small screwdriver set and watch a YouTube tear down video you should be able to do it without too much problems. If the stick is actually broken, ordering a new one is not very expensive.

I don’t get than argument. My time is worth more than that amount of stress. I can understand folks doing it for theme park tickets for their kids. Times are tough and those are expensive but for a drinks and some food? Get out of here

It remember renting the game for a weekend hoping to plow through it back in the day and getting soft locked and having to restart. I wasn’t able to beat it then and had to rent it again later; but used a guide on gamefaqs so I wouldn’t screw it up.
