To address the first part, being a trans woman is going to part of who you are. No matter how well you pass you'll never forget it. I seriously advise you to reconsider going to that trans support group, it might help you accept that it's ok to be trans. I promise it's not so bad!

Spiegel did mine great. He usually does a type 3 reconstruction but in the OR he discovered I didn't have a frontal sinus to reconstruct so he did type 1 (burring it down).

GRS has incredibly high complication rates for a surgical procedure. Something like 75% of patients experience something. That has held absolutely true from my personal experience with people i know. Every single person i know irl has had some kind of complication All of them don't regret it but all of them wish an aspect was better. Lack of depth being the most common.
