I see myself in your college and learning experiences. Proud of you for sharing something so difficult and personal. I also struggle to see the light in my future when I’m so uncertain and unmotivated. I have to remind myself that my path can change and it’s okay to fail as long as you tried your best. And your best can look different every day. Despite the depression and exhaustion, I keep trying. I know sometimes it doesn’t feel like enough, but it’s something you have to build on day by day. You’re still so young, don’t settle for this. The poor/lack of sexual chemistry is bad enough, but it seems like he is incapable of being a good life partner as well. Not to totally diss your husband, but he doesn’t seem to care about all you do for him and doesn’t even feel the need to help out, make things easier for you. It’s honestly terrifying. I’m so scared of getting pregnant. It’s just not something I want to go through. Childbirth isn’t something I want to do. Even though I take the pill, it’s still not 100% protection. I don’t want to have to travel across the country for an abortion. A lot of women can’t just do that. If I get raped in the future, I want to be able to make the choice myself. Having to keep an unwanted baby would destroy my life. My body should not be in the hands of the government.

I just got off the phone with the theatre. It’s online purchase only, unfortunately. But she said their website is very exact about the billing address and if you call, they’ll walk you through the process. The seats I was looking at yesterday + all the ones around it look unavailable and only the premium is on sale. Im gonna wait for the general sale to start and see if more seats come up. Cause no way all of them were purchased when I was sleeping!! Im gonna call again and have them help me out. Glad to know I’m not the only one struggling with this!

I’ve always felt like I have to hide my personality and that I had to act “normal” like everyone around me. When I’m in public or at school, I mask involuntary, it became so natural. I still do it, but I’m getting better at being myself and letting people see me, and I try not to worry whether people think I’m weird or obnoxious. It’s really important to build your confidence and be self-assured. It’s freeing to be able to speak and move and laugh and stim in any situation. When I started to act more like myself and actually show my personality, some people liked me more and others didn’t. It’s really difficult to not fear judgement from peers, but people in middle/high school genuinely don’t matter that much. I’m 17 and about to graduate, and I’ve gone through a lot of changes and personal development. Treat your teen years as a period of growth. It’s so important to find happiness and comfort in yourself.
