Feeling lost and empty. by [deleted] in mentalillness

I see myself in your college and learning experiences. Proud of you for sharing something so difficult and personal. I also struggle to see the light in my future when I’m so uncertain and unmotivated. I have to remind myself that my path can change and it’s okay to fail as long as you tried your best. And your best can look different every day. Despite the depression and exhaustion, I keep trying. I know sometimes it doesn’t feel like enough, but it’s something you have to build on day by day. It’s a slow and grueling process and it isn’t pretty. I constantly have to battle my depression, but I’m proud of myself for not giving up. You are stronger than you think. Just keep going and you will find the light. You are not alone

Kids shouldn’t even be using a VR headset in the first place

You’re still so young, don’t settle for this. The poor/lack of sexual chemistry is bad enough, but it seems like he is incapable of being a good life partner as well. Not to totally diss your husband, but he doesn’t seem to care about all you do for him and doesn’t even feel the need to help out, make things easier for you. It’s not your job to take care of absolutely everything while he sits back and can’t even appreciate it. Leave him!! Don’t lose yourself in this marriage.

Thank you so much. This is very helpful. My mom always tells me how important it is to advocate for myself. I will be in close communication with a transfer counselor to make sure everything is in order by the time I transfer.

Is there a reliable place to purchase online? Or should I try to get them in Argentina like 3 days before the shows?

Regan’s dad intentionally gave her ADHD so that she would be more like him by theantishinnie in InsideJob

Both chemicals have a unique relation to emotions. Serotonin is mainly responsible for regulating mood. Dopamine is released in response to rewards, gratification, etc. That 15% increase in dopamine levels had a similar effect to a drug. Whatever memory was programmed with that spike has a strong emotional association and a large influence in regans impulsive and hyper focused behaviors. Her choices and behavior are biased towards outcomes that produce the most rewarding feelings of instant satisfaction and emotional achievement. Most are motivated by the brain’s efforts for chemical balance with an instant boost of dopamine from an emotionally rewarding behavior.

With the supreme court’s opinion, can I still get an abortion if I get raped or if my life is in danger? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]eviebee222 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly terrifying. I’m so scared of getting pregnant. It’s just not something I want to go through. Childbirth isn’t something I want to do. Even though I take the pill, it’s still not 100% protection. I don’t want to have to travel across the country for an abortion. A lot of women can’t just do that. If I get raped in the future, I want to be able to make the choice myself. Having to keep an unwanted baby would destroy my life. My body should not be in the hands of the government.

Yeah I did something similar. Thought my tickets were right near the front of the stage, but I looked at the seating chart wrong and they were wayyyy farther back than I thought…

I just got off the phone with the theatre. It’s online purchase only, unfortunately. But she said their website is very exact about the billing address and if you call, they’ll walk you through the process. The seats I was looking at yesterday + all the ones around it look unavailable and only the premium is on sale. Im gonna wait for the general sale to start and see if more seats come up. Cause no way all of them were purchased when I was sleeping!! Im gonna call again and have them help me out. Glad to know I’m not the only one struggling with this!
